Motorcyclist Sees An Injured Bald Eagle Stuck On Road On Memorial Day Weekend And Saves Him

For a man named Dandon Miller, his favorite piece of clothing is to wear a piece of red and black colored flannel. He has been in possession of this shirt for the last 8 years and wore this shirt everywhere. Still, he never thought that one day this shirt would help him to save someone’s life.

Earlier on the Saturday of the Memorial Day Weekend, Miller was driving on his motorcycle on his way back to home in Philadelphia when suddenly the traffic in front of him stopped. Miller got off on to the side of the road to check out what was happening and he was shocked to see the cause of the traffic jam.

Miller said to media, “I looked down to see why everyone was topping on the highway and there it was; a bald eagle lying in the middle of the road. One other person was there who nudged the eagle to see if she can fly or walk off the road. She did open her wings but it was clear that she was not going anywhere.”

Miller knew that the eagle was hurt and he needs to do something to help her.

Despite the large eagle ebbing too hurt to fly on her own, she had strong and powerful talons which prompted Miller to first throw his favorite red and black shirt over the eagle. It was when Miller was surprised to see that the eagle was completely clam being wrapped in the shirt.

Miller said, “I picked her up and she remained totally calm. When people started to take her pictures, she did get a little agitated but was still under control.”

After the eagle was removed from the road, Miller called 911 who got in touch with a local rehabilitation centre for wild birds. It was not after 45 minutes of Miller holding the 15-pound bird in his arms that the Tri-State Bird Rescue and Research personnel came.

Miller said, “It was amazing to hold such an amazing bird in my hand and for it to be totally calm. It was simply amazing.”

After few days of being in rehabilitation, the rescue organization is confident that the eagle will be released into the wild.

As for the favorite shirt of Miller, it certainly won’t see any more good days than this. The shirt now has large talon holes but Miller is happy that it was for good cause.

A Man’s Sweetest Act Of Kindness To A Dragonfly During Baseball Game

A Reddit user by the name Nic was attending a baseball game with his few friends in Cleveland, Ohio earlier this month. However, the most memorable part of her baseball day with a friend actually had nothing to do with the game but instead was entirely something else.

There they witnessed the kindness of a human being at its finest.

As it was a very windy day and Nic and her friends were all settled in their seats to watch the game, she noticed someone else as it w battling against the strong winds.

Nic said, “A massive dragonfly was actually flying around our seats. I remember saying to myself, “hat a good workout this miniature aircraft is having during this wind. What a powerhouse.’ As I remember it, the dragonfly was really working very hard.”

As the stadium started to fill up with more and more people, it seemed that the dragonfly would not have enough seats to sit by. Then he decided to take a risk as he landed on top of man’s leg who was sitting right in front of Nic.

As it happens to be, the dragonfly had actually found itself a perfect place to rest.

Instead of brushing the dragonfly away like anyone else would have had done, the man remained completely composed and calm. He was being quite reasonable to make the dragonfly feel accommodated.

Inning after inning of the game passed but the dragonfly was sitting on man’s leg, who did not move his leg or the dragonfly.

Even when everyone in the stadium stood up in excitement at one point, the man remained still for the sake of dragonfly.

Nic said that at one time a beer vendor was selling beers came to the man and asked him. He said that I would like to have a beer but you need to come to me as you can see that this little guy is having his rest.

Nic said, “The guy was seriously interested in well being of the dragonfly.”

Nic said, “Near the time of game ending, the dragonfly flew away and all of us watching had a collective ‘Ahh’. Especially the man had a sad ‘Ahh’ of homeless too.”

A college guy named Cole Shinsky had to bear the loss of his beloved mom 9 years ago. However, the one thing that his mother said to him, stuck to him.

Shinsky wrote on his Twitter account, “My mom mentioned that one day she would become a little yellow butterfly.”

Shinsky, who is a college student and also a baseball pitcher of his college team, had to go through a lot of problems in his life; from having trouble with his shoulder to him potentially switching the school. He was in need of someone to tell him that it was all going to be alright. He needed someone like his mother.

Then on this Mother’s Day, something magical and most unexpected thing happened to him when he got an unexpected visitor. The visitor came just in time when he needed someone the most.

Shinsky wrote, “I was fishing off the dock at my aunt’s house when he started to walk toward me with her hands cupped and said, “guess, who came to visit you?”

At, first Shinsky was unable to guess as to what his aunt was holding as she had tears in her eyes.

She then opened her alms and there in her hand was small yellow colored butterfly.

Shinsky said, “The butterfly seemed to be clearly OK with being held like that. Then my aunt handed her to me.”

Shinsky then proceeded to come into the room with the butterfly sitting upon his hand.

Shinsky said, “After I sat down, she started to walk her way up to my arm then she sat on my left shoulder for a few minutes. After that I walked outside.”

Shinsky felt the significance of the butterfly sitting upon his left arm which also happens to be his pitching arm.

Shinsky wrote, “This is incredible. For the last 9 years, I have been mesmerized to see a yellow butterfly but never have I ever seen one from this much closer.”

Shinsky said, “I think she has come especially for me as I am going through rough times. She came just to let me know that she is still here with me.”

After a few minutes of staying with Shinsky, the butterfly flew away.

Man Sees A Creepy Doll Head On A Beach But Then Notices It Has A Hermit Crab In It

A man named Joseph Cronk, earlier this month was having a stroll down the beach of Wake Island, which is a remote atoll located in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. He was planning for a nice sun setting evening when he found something not only surprising but also concerning. To be fair, it was also a little bit creepy.

In front of Joseph Cronk was a decapitated head of toy doll on the sand and that’s when thing got creepy. The doll head started to move.

Below is the video of the moment which Joseph Cronk recorded immediately.

Moving the hollow plastic head was nothing but a hermit crab who had taken this doll head as his new shell. Cronk was instantly able to see that the little guy was not at all comfortable to move this head easily.

Cronk said to media, “The crab still seemed fine as it went into the water and seemingly sat there for a while. I guess he was pondering the life mysteries (said Cronk chuckling).

However, Cronk who also at first thought for the scene to be a little amusing also started to ponder on it. The crab was only able to choose this doll head as his new home due to it being a part of a much larger problem; the improper disposal of the garbage.

According to analytical reports, nearly 12.7 metric tons of plastic trash is dumped by humans into the waters of the world’s oceans.

Cronk posted his video along with the picture down below to help inspire the people for doing their part to clean their mess up from oceans.

Cronk said, “I want to get my message about the trash problem out there in the world. It really killed me inside to see all that trash lying around on the beaches there. I never thought that the crab video might go viral but now I want it to raise more awareness.”

A man named Chad Morris was spending his vacation with his family in a nice place located in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. That is when he heard the screams of hi parents who were asking him to come outside a take a look at the things.

In order to check what’s all the commotion was about, he rushed out of his cabin and what he saw, he could not believe his eyes.

Right in his driveway was a family of bears and from what it seemed, they were trying to steal his car.

Morris said, “as soon as I saw them walking up to my car, three of the cubs jumped inside the car.”

The mama bear was standing nearby watching her cubs while the cubs had a time of their life inside Morris’s car. The played in his car’s driver seat, leaned out of the windows and fooled around in whatever manner they could inside the car.

It was not that bears were not aware of Morris and his parents watching them from afar, it was that they just did not care about them. Hey continued with their little thing of destroying a human’s property.

Morris said, “They saw us standing there as we took their pictures but they never even bothered to care about us.”

After the cubs realized that they cannot take the car away with them and had fully explored the car, they climbed out of the car and then attempted to steal another car parked in the driveway.

Morris said, “They crawled out of the windows of my car and moved to the car of my mom and dad. Their windows were up, so after five minutes of walking around the cars, they simply went down the mountain and into the woods.”

After the bears left, Morris ran to check the extent of damage but was surprised to see that the car was still fine even after being ransacked by three playful cubs.

Morris aid, “one of them bit the leather of the driver’s seat headrest while the other scratched the interior a little bit. One of them bit the top of my protein shaker.”

Rebecca Lynch was with her husband on a vacation trip in Savannah, Georgia when she decided to make one unplanned stop before leaving back home. While many people stocking up on souvenirs, Lynch decided to bring back with her something with a little more emotional meaning.

Lynch said to media, “I was aware that Georgia is littered with many kill shelters and I wanted to at least save one neediest of all the dogs at such shelter and take it back home. We had space in our car and I wanted to help.”

Lynch learned about a terrier named Lizzy which was close to being euthanized after someone dumped her being pregnant at a kill shelter.

Lynch knew in her heart that she could not let the poor dog with a broken leg suffer any more than she already had.

To make the ride back to Florida comfortable for the dog, they placed a bed and a blanket in their car’s backseat. Lynch also sat beside Lizzy and petted her softly with her husband driving.

It seems that the couple might have made it too comfortable and safe for Lizzy.

Lynch said, “After an hour, Lizzy finally relaxed quite a bit and place her head in my hand as I was petting her. Once it was apparent to her that she is safe and OK, she decided it was her time to give birth. She started to pant heavily and got restless. I said to my husband, I think she is in labor.”

After 20 minutes, Lizzy gave broth to her first puppy as Lynch played the role of midwife to keep the new mother clam and her babies safe.

By the time, the car reached the nearest vet’s clinic, Lizzy had given birth to three puppies.

Lizzy later gave birth to 2 more at the vet and 2 more on the car ride back home.

Back in Florida, Lizzy and her 6 pups were sent to a vet’s clinic where they will spend a few weeks before coming to Lynch’s house. There they will be fostered for a few weeks before being placed for adoption to find them a forever home.

For the last 2 weeks, a stray dog who was later reported to be named Buboy was sitting outside the faculty office of the Mabalacat City College located in Pampanga, Philippines. The pup was reported to be standing outside the door each day waiting for his favorite person to come out and give him either tasty treats or to scratch him playfully behind his ear.

This sight of the dog waiting for the man in question has caused many faculty members and students to be teary eyes because they are aware that the dog’s dad is not going to come back.

The name of the man is Carmelito Marcelo who was the professor at the college. He is also the one who has been taking care of Buboy for the past 4 years but unfortunately passed away after suffering a stroke and spending a few weeks in a local hospital.

According to one colleague of Marcelo, Kristina Demafelix, the dog had a habit to follow the professor all around. The day would start with Buboy greeting professor at the gate of college in the morning and then to spend the rest of the day trailing behind him as he moves from one class to another. They would then eat the lunch together in the faculty room and as the day ended, the dog would see off professor at the door.

Even when Marcelo had an off day, he would still come to visit the college just to see the dog.

The first time Demafelix noticed Buboy was when the dog was in the faculty office while Marcelo himself was in the hospital. With Buboy now waiting every day, Demafelix decided to give some closure to the dog.

On Tuesday, Demafelix brought Buboy to Marcelo’s wake in order for the dog to say his final goodbye to his dear friend.

Buboy after paying his respects to Marcelo and sat beside his coffin and refused to leave.

Now with Marcelo passing away, many faculty members and family members of Marcelo are coming forward to look after Buboy.

Karlyn is a 2 years old rescued Pitbull who undergone her complete transformation and is a happy dog who just needs her forever home.

It was not too long ago when this adorable pup was not even able to look at the people.

No matter how much the people at the shelter tried to cheer up the pitbull by dressing her in adorable clothes, she would simply look miserable and sad.

However, then something amazing happened for Karlyn, as she met with someone who actually believed in the spirit of the pup and to save her life.

Karlyn was found by her rescuers as a stray dog roaming the streets of North Carolina from what appeared to be in a condition where she was dumped out of a home. The dog was immensely timid and had a tendency to cower in fear which was an indication that it had been mistreated in her past.

Fran Alexay, the resident of the Greenville and foster to Karlyn, said, “The shelter during that time when Karlyn was adopted, was overcrowded. They only had the capacity to have 10 large dogs that could be adopted to foster. Due to this shelter working hard to be a no-kill one, they always have space issues. Space is the roans that most dogs become an urgency.”

Alexay had a friend named Valerie Mullin who lived in Champion valley and wanted to help with unwanted dogs. On that day, Karlyn just went from being an unadopted dog to be a foster dog all thanks to Alexay and Mullin.

Alexay said, “Pitbull types tend to go again and again on urgent list and I tend to help whenever I can.”

Karlyn then spent nearly two weeks at Alexay’s home where she learned to trust in people again.

Below is the video of the night when Karlyn ’s mom decided to record a video message and Karlyn decided to snuggle up to her foster mom and listen to all the sweet things she had to say.

Karlyn responded to all her praises with her big wet kisses.

At the moment, Karlyn is currently under Mullin’s fostering and waits for her right family.

Earlier this month, a worker of the sanitation department working in Oregon was rummaging through the trash can to empty it out when he heard something concerning.

From deep inside the trash can, he heard the noise of an animal that seemed to be in distress.

The worker inspected the trash can closely and found that someone cruel had sprayed a cat with hardening foam and left it there to die.

A staff member of the Hillsboro Veterinary Clinic named Diane Healey said to media, “He looked something that was straight out of a horror movie. Fortunately for the cat, he had not been there for far too long, otherwise he would have suffocated. His head, face, and legs were all covered with foam and were stiff. He could not move any of his body parts.”

The kitten was, however, soon freed up from this foamy situation.

The Washington County’s Sheriff Department released a statement, “the driver of the sanitation truck took the cat back to the Hillsboro Garbage Disposal facility. There, other workers helped him to remove the foam from the cat and took it to a local vet. The cat is assumed to be of 8 weeks old.”

Officials said that the cat seemed to be a feral one which had been born in the multi-unit residence nearby and that is why he was found near the bin. Currently, officials are seeking out the help of the people of the area to seek out the person who was responsible for this horrific act of animal cruelty.

As for the rescued kitten, he is now safe despite going through such an act of cruelty done against him.

Bonnie Hays Animal Shelter spokesperson said that the cat is being taken care of and his prognosis is good. He said, “The cat is expected to undergo full recovery soon.”

For the past 10 long years, two dog brothers; Spencer and Rocky had been inseparable bets pals.

The sweetest thing for both these adorable pups was to be near each other.

The owner of dogs, Beth Fisher said, “They have never spent a night apart from each other. Both of them even slept in the same bed and ate from the very same bowl. Whenever they went out, they walked with each other.”

Sadly for them their joyous long journey came to a sad end.

In a routine vet visit, Rocky was revealed to be suffering from a cancerous tumor and when the discovery was made, it was already too late to save him. The only way to help poor Rocky was to end his life in the most humane way possible.

Fisher said, “The day tumor was found, Rocky was put down. For us, Rocky’s death was a hard process but for poor Spencer, who had lost his brother, it was even more saddening.”

Spencer was heartbroken after his brother’s death and it really showed.

Fisher said, “After Rocky’s death, Spencer would walk around the house at night trying to find his brother. After not fining him, he would start to cry.”

To see the dog in pain, family decided to do something for him and Fisher’s dad ordered a custom pillow with Rocky’s face on it.

As soon as Spencer saw the pillow, he was put at ease.

The pillow seemed to have filled the hole that was caused by Rocky’s absence.

Fisher said, “Ever since the pillow arrived, Spencer takes it everywhere and cuddles with it. As he now has something to cuddle with, he seems a lot more at ease.”

Now the mourning dog does not sleep alone.

While nothing can ever bring Rocky back, Spencer is still reassured that his brother is close to him the way he had always been.

On the last Mother’s Day Weekend, when people were busy going t brunches with their families, a shelter located in Texas received an unexpected visit.

Owners of a sick and matted fur dog, surrender their dog to the shelter at their reception with a request to put her down. Taking a single glance at the dog’s weak belly, the staff of the shelter immediately realized that the poor sick dog had been a mother quite a few times.

On a day which was to honor motherhood, shelter staff could not put themselves up for the task of putting down a mama dog. Ultimately they decided to reach out for help.

The executive director of Dallas Dog Rescue Rehab Reform (Dallas DogRRR) named Kerry Anechiarico said, “Many animals that come through our doors are left here to die being alone and afraid. As for Abigail, we were not going to let it happen to her on Mother’s Day for all she has ever done was to love both her humans and the countless puppies that she gave birth over the course of her life.”

The shelter took the poor Poodle mix dog, which was probably 9 years old to a nearest vet’s clinic. They were aware that Abigail’s road to recovering her healthy won’t be an easy one due to the bulges on her belly. Still, they knew that they have to give it a shot.

At vet’s clinic, Abigail was given a haircut and then a bath and she felt a whole lot better after it. Her sad face even showed her to have a smile of a sort.

Since then, Abigail has been placed in a foster home where she is slowly but surely regaining her health back. She is soon to undergo testing for her tumors on her belly.

While Abigail’s future is uncertain at this point, still she is being spoiled by her foster mother like every day is a Mother’s Day for Abigail.

When Caro, a rescued German Sheppard dog, was first spotted by Kylina Turner, she was not aware that she would be such a bundle of cuteness and joy to her.

Turner said, “I thought at the time that she was stuffed animal. He was completely frozen and staring back at me. I walked up to her to check on her and then her ear twitched. I was shocked to realize that it was an animal and a living one at that.”

Caro had his legs stuck in the wire bed frame and was too malnourished and weak to free himself. Caro knew that Turner was his only hope so he let her help him.

Turner was scared to touch the weak dog so she first put a jacket around the 18-pound light dog and then lifted her out of the mangled bed. She then took her to her car where she immediately fell asleep.

Turner, from there, took Caro to a vet and while he was being checked by the vet, Turner fell in love with the 6-month old dog.

The vet told her after checkup that Caro was severely malnourished and dehydrated. He was also suffering from the worst kind of mange that the vet ever saw in his professional life.

Turner was not sure if the dog could make it alive out of the treatment, but she made a habit to keep an eye on Caro. Still, the dog was too weak to even move.

Turner said, “During the one week, when Caro was at vet’s clinic, I went daily to check up on her. Techs at the clinic were always very excited to tell me little things about Caro such as he lifted his head today a little bit or he walked on his own to the other side of the kennel or he ate solid food today on his own. Still, all of it was heartbreaking for me.”

Despite Caro’s poor condition and his inability to interact with the surrounding, Turner watched herself growing more and more attached to the poor sickly dog. That was when; Turner decided that when Caro leaves the vet’s clinic, she will foster him until he regains his full strength and health back.

After taking him home, Turner would give Caro medicated baths for treating his mage and would feed him small meals for times a day.

Soon his thick black and brown fur started to grow back.

With every pound Caro gained, he started to look more and more like a great German Shepherd dog that he was supposed to be.

Now thanks to Tuner, Caro is like a whole new dog.

Now after a few months of being together and Caro being in great health, there is a problem that is not too much for Turner; Caro is now not able to live without her.

Turner has adopted Caro as her own and they could not be happier with each other.

In Texas, after two police officers were done dealing with a shoplifting call from a local store, they received a call to help two poor tiny kittens that were stuck underneath a car in the same store’s parking lot. Being concerned about the safety of kittens, police officer quickly went there to check on them and heard weak meowing sounds emanating from underneath the car.

Jesse Minton of the Arlington Police Department told media, “Police officers found the kittens stowed away in the bumper of the car where their mother had most likely placed them for safety or some other reason. As for the owner of the car, she did not own a cat and had no earthly idea as to where and how did the cat placed her kitten.”

After figuring out the whole situation, Officer Joe Bob Adkins started to rescue the kittens.

He went underneath the car carefully and was able to remove these confused little kittens very gently.

After taking them out, Officer Bob Adkins took them back to his car as he was holding them close to himself to make them feel safe and loved. As it happens to be, kittens could not get enough of his love and they started cuddling him back. They curled up on his chest in the cutest way possible.

From there, officers took the kittens to a vet for being checked who told them that they were 6 weeks old and were in good health. Assuming that the kittens had been under the car for no one knows how long, they would be hungry.
