As the Australian bushfires are still raging on, the news about the death of nearly 500 million animals has left the whole world in sadness which died amid these devastating fires. The most hit species y these Australian bushfires was of Koalas as nearly 20000 of these Koalas have died so far in these fires.
But this situation has also shown the world that there are indeed many people in this world who step up to help where it is needed the most. The same is the case for these Australian bushfires where many people have come every day and became heroes in their own right.
One such heroic team is of 19 years old named Micah and 18 years old named Caleb who are getting praises from all across the world on the internet. They are both cousins who drove to Kangaroo Island for the sake of helping by rescuing the Koalas by putting them in their own car.
2 cousins named Caleb and Micah drove around the Kangaroo Island to save and rescue as many of the kolas from the fiery hell as they can.
These teens have plans to look after these freshly saved koalas until they regain their full health and it becomes safe for letting them go once more into the wild. As per Caleb and Micah, about 60 percent of the Koalas they found on Kangaroo Island, they were already brunt due to these bushfires.
One of these 2 cousins is heard in the video, which they shot inside the car, “This is our own little Koala rescue. We are only trying to collect as many live ones as we can.”
Both of these Young lads have plans to look after these rescued koalas and nurse them back to full health.
Each night one stray puppy would arrive outside the doors of a restaurant and waits there patiently with the eyes of puppy filled with hope.
She is aware that it will only be in few moments that one of the workers of this Subway restaurant will put on their pair of gloves and fix this little puppy a special meal and it will be free of any charge. This cute little pup has been making the visit to this sandwich shop for nearly a whole year and hasn’t missed a single day. This has led to this cute and adorable little pup getting the nickname “Subway Sally”.
One week ago; Kxnuko, a user of Tik Tok visited this restaurant where Sally visits each day and then posted the sweet and cute video of the dogs’ daily routine. This short video of Subway Sally after being posted on Tik Tok has gone viral and has received nearly 3 million views on Tik Tok alone.
While Sally is aware of the fact that she will always receive a sandwich and a bowl full of water at this Subway, she still has no bias in going to another restaurant in the area to look for food.
Kxnuko said, “If we are too late in preparing and giving her the special sandwich, she will then imply go to the Taco Bell located across the street.”
Some of the viewers of the video said that Sally looked to be quite clean for being a stray and suggested that she might be a pet and only sneaks out for getting these tasty treats from restaurants.
Kxnuko denied all these theories in her next video where she explains that she is being looked after by the community. The glossy fur coat of Sally is all because of a flower lady running a flower shop and gives Sally baths occasionally.
Kxnuko also explained that many people have tried to take this pup as their pet but she never goes with them. She says, “I suspect that she has a safe place somewhere in the area where she can sleep as well as protect her pups too.”

Unfortunately, the homeland of Irwin Family is hit by the most terrible tragedy that it has ever seen.”
“Our Wildlife Hospital is busier than ever though, having officially treated over 90,000 patients. My parents dedicated our Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital to my beautiful grandmother. We will continue to honor her by being Wildlife Warriors and saving as many lives as we can.”
As the bushfires in Australia have destroyed the land by millions of hectares, the animal life there has suffered greatly and now The Irwin Family is doing everything to help these animals.
Bindi later shared a photo of a possum that got burned badly in the bushfires and was sent to be treated at the local Wildlife Hospital. Bindi wrote that unfortunately, that poor animal could not make it alive. She writes,
“Blossom the possum was admitted to the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital after being caught in one of the bushfires burning in other parts of Queensland. We have such an incredible team that works day and night to protect gorgeous animals like Blossom. Devastatingly this beautiful girl didn’t make it even after working so hard to save her life. I want to thank you for your kind words and support. This is the heart-wrenching truth, every day is a battle to stand up and speak for those who cannot speak for themselves. Now more than ever we need to work together to make a difference and protect our Mother Earth.”
These flames that seem to give one impression of coming straight from the hell are still raging on and the numbers that are being reported by the authorities each day about the loss of land, animal and other things are so huge that one cannot truly imagine how devastating these bushfires in Australia really are. As per the estimate, a total of 6300000 hectares of land which is about 24000 square miles of 63000 km2 has been burnt down to ashes along with the loss of 2500 buildings that include more than 1300 houses. Joshua Phillips, who was once a professional player of soccer, was enjoying his boat ride one day when he grabbed hold of his phone and put it on the record for capturing a video that could be explained only as “Highly Unusual”. What he recorded were a couple of gigantic sea lions that were sailing atop a small boat in a majestic manner.
Phillips told media, “When I saw the vessel, it looked a little off to me. As we got closer and closer to it, we realized that it actually had two of the massive animals on board of it.”
This video was recorded by Phillips in the region called Eld Inlet which is located near Olympia, Georgia, US.
There were also reports about a third sea lion also hopping onto the boat for joining his sea lion buddies for a boat ride but he was apparently turned away by the other two. Well, you know the saying that if 2 massive sea lions are dangling on a little boat and look like that it is already about to sink, then 3’s the crowd for such situation.
As for the identity of the owner of the said fishing vessel is still not known neither is known for how long those 2 massive sea lions enjoyed their boat ride for.
But one thing that is clear after seeing the video is that they nearly sunk it. as per The Marine Mamma Center, a sea lion can grow well up to a length of 11 feet and an adult can weigh on average about 1120 kilograms.

He then went on to post this video on his Facebook account back on December 26th, 2019. The impression of the bird for the emergency sirens is quite impressive. However, the context of these sounds is really sad because this Australian magpie has heard enough sounds of the emergency sirens in amidst the bushfires that he can now mimic them perfectly. As per a bird expert named Kenn Kaufman, the bird in this video is the Australian magpie which as per Kaufman is known for being an astounding vocalist. Kaufman comments on the video saying, “This Australian magpie does a fair amount of mimicry but it is still not quite as good as the one done by a lyrebird. Many of the usual calls from an Australian magpie have the ringing whistling sound to them which often sounds like that of an emergency vehicle’s siren. This is why it is not that much of a stretch for this bird to appropriate the siren sound and then mimic it perfectly.”

Not only animals but also countless people have died as a result of these bushfires and many still remain missing. Thousands of houses have been burned down to ashes.
Earlier on the morning of January 1st, 2020, the fires already spread across the Victoria region and the NSW Coast has burned down millions of hectares of the National Park land.

The animal that suffered the most brunt of these Australian Bushfires is Koala which is the native species of Australia. They are the slow-moving animals that only rely on eucalyptus leaves for sustenance. These leaves are filled with natural oils which make them highly flammable.
Almost one-third of the Koala population in the region, which is about 8000 Koalas are believed to have been lost in these Australian Bushfires during the course of 4 months.
Dr. Kellie Leigh, the executive director of Science for Wildlife said that there are no resources nor is there any planning to save this Koala population form this deadly threat.
An alliance for the 13 organization called Stand Up For Nature is now calling or an immediate halt on the logging of the native forests in the NSW region until the deadly impacts of these bushfires on the habitat are understood.
Susan Ley, the Environmental Minister of Australia said that the true number of animals who have died in these bushfires cannot be known until the fires completely calm down. Until then no proper assessment of the damage can be made.
Even in the middle of all the horrors of the wars, there are still some people that know love in their hearts and it knows no bounds. Among these kind-hearted people is a man named Salah Jafar, a 32 years old Syrian man who decided to tend to the abandoned cats in his war trodden town. He has made a promise to himself that if there is a time when he needs to leave his town called Kafr Nabl then he will try to take as many cats with him as he can.
Kafr Nabl is a small town of Syria which prior to being abandoned by its residents was home to nearly 40000 people.
Nowadays, this town is torn to shreds with months of bombing of both the Russian and the Syrian forces. This town is located in the last province held by rebels.
Nowadays, only less than 100 people are living in this nonce crowded town.
One of those 100 people is Salah Jafar who told media, “I am here because of the cats. It is really comforting when the cats are close to me. It makes the demolition from the bombardment and the accompanying suffering feels less frightening.”
While the radio station of the town is destroyed, Salah used to once work there. The founder of that radio station was killed by the firing of an ISIS gunman in 2018.
These remaining few residents of the city are doing whatever they can to take care of their scared families.
Salah said about the abandoned cats, “so many of the people have left the town and the population is now very little. As for the cats, they need somebody to take care of them to provide tem water and food. This is why they have taken refuge in the town’s abandoned houses. Each house now has 15 cats inside and sometimes more. Whenever we walk outside on the streets, there happen to be 20 to 30 cats walking on the streets as well. Some of them even come out of the houses.”
Salah is among the few people of the town, who always share their food with these cats.
An old pet dog of a family died while in his owner’s arm after he suffered from panic attacks that were triggered due to the sounds of the fireworks.
The name of the dog was Magui whose owner named Antonella Modasjazh shared this heartbreaking story of her deceased dog on Facebook and she blamed the dog’s death on the points that she was not only old but also scared.
Antonella said, “She was not just a dog but our beloved pet. Her name was Magui and she is now dead. She was old and was extremely scared of the fireworks. We had no idea as to where to put her while other people were celebrating but she was going through a very tough time. She suffered a panic attack and we called all of the vets in Esquel for helping our dog but nobody came to attend her. The dog died in my son’s arms as he begged to call somebody to help Magui.”
The story was shared by a dog charity organization named Adopt, Sterilize, Teach for raising awareness. ADAE wrote, “Your fun scared her and it triggered a very rough panic attack. Your fun took her life. Magui died in the arms of her owner. Her family has lost their family member with her death.”
In response to this post, many of the outraged social media users fired back at these many animal charities who did not pick the phone for helping her.
One of them in fumes of anger wrote, “Maybe the fireworks were being sold on black market lack of control, poor little dog, how sad, those who actually love the animals feel the pain from their loss.”
Another one wrote, “This is the fault of those irresponsible vets who although give out their numbers for emergencies but never take the calls and never attend when needed.”

Today we decided to let our readers know about one such story of a Russian family that is actually living with their very own pet wolf right inside their home.
Back on 8th May 2017, the farmers working in the region of Astrakhan, Russia found a lair of the wolves along with one cub inside it, that the villagers had initially planned to put down for good. Luckily for that wolf cub, among that extermination party was a 46 years old man named Ivan who worked as a massage therapist in the area. He managed to buy one of the wolf cubs from these farmers when the said cub was only 3 to 4 weeks old. He named it ‘Seryi’ that translates into English as ‘Gray’. Seryi now happens to be the sole survivor of the 6 cub s found in the lair of wolves.
Ivan gets the help to raise Seryi from his daughter as well.
Ivan and his family lived in Astrakhan for a while before they move to live in another area called Volgograd. Ivan’s 19 years old daughter named Alexandra happens to be a dog trainer who helped her father in taking care of Seryi.
At this time, Seryi is a 2 and a half years old with a height of 28 inches and a weight of almost 100 lbs. Ivan says that his pet wolf needs to actually take long walks no matter how the weather is. This is why having the pet wolf at home can be a demanding task. He says that he hardly has any free time with his pet wolf around him to have a little bit of rest. “You cannot fool a wolf twice but still, you can persuade them.”
Despite what folks know about wolves to be ferocious and wild creatures, Ivan differs with this and says that his pet wolf is almost similar to any other dog in his behavior. He often feels scared and is afraid of crossing the roads as well as going near objects that he does not know like the boxes or other stuff, where especially a person or someone can fit themselves for hiding. Ivan also does not allow strangers to take pictures of Seryi as he gets scared when someone takes his picture. The other main reason for not letting passersby take pictures of Seryi is that he is not an exhibition animal, instead of a real part of Ivan’s family. Seryi walks with his owner to take long walks while only being on a leash and does not wear a muzzle.
Even before Ivan welcomed Seryi in his home, he already had owned dogs. Seryi considers these dogs as the older members of his new pack. Just like any other dog, when Seryi gets upset, he bites. When he goes out for a walk, Seryi tends to get along well with the dogs that are of his height or are almost similar. He tends to ignore the dogs that are of small size.
Despite Seryi being a demanding pet, he considers Ivan as the pack leader of his new family. While Seryi gets along really well with Ivan’s daughter, the only one who can lift Seryi up and give him medicines is Ivan.
Like any other wolf or a dog, Seryi eats meat. On a daily basis, Seryi eats 1.2 of the meat or the chicken. However, unlike wolves, Seryi sometimes also loves to eat fruits, berries or vegetables. In order to provide Seryi with supplements, Ivan sometimes treats Seryi with items like cookies, honey, and nuts.
Ivan says that wolves are not only curious but very intelligent animals.
Ivan says that the nature of Seryi is very protective as he looks after other dogs around the house. Ivan has also trained Seryi on how to open the windows or flip the light switches around the house On.
The very first tip for anyone who plans to adopt a wolf is “never Do It”. Wolves are very demanding animals by nature and they require a ton of energy and a lot of time to take care of them properly. They are not in the least bit easy to take care of. Still, if someone still plans to adopt a wolf as a pet, they should then spend a lot of their time with the said wolf to create a better relationship with the wolf. For building that better relationship with a pet wolf, one needs to feed the wolf themselves, sleep with them, walk with them for hours as well as try to provide them with a separate enclosure where they can avoid the problems from seeing others. These enclosures should be big enough for the wolf to move around easily.
A family living in Milwaukee experienced the Chromes miracle all because of one caring bus driver who made the decision of helping the 2 dogs that were unattended along a roadside. Back on December 18th, the family in Milwaukee lost their 2 family pet dogs after they somehow escaped from the yard then eventually wandered off. The family then spent the entire night looking for the lost dogs and was silently wishing for their safe return home.
A bus driver is being praised for stopping to check on 2 unattended dogs that were running along the road.
On that very same day of December 18th, a bus driver named Jamie Grabowski had just finished doing her route and was driving back to the garage of the Milwaukee County Transit System when she saw 2 dogs running along the street.
The temperatures had plummeted well below 20 degrees and Grabowski thought that she could not leave these 2 dogs shivering outside in the cold alone. Making her mind, she invited both the dogs inside her bus.
In the video that has been shared over YouTube by the MCTS, Grabowski says to the dogs, “Hey, you two. You 2 need to go home right now. C’mon, c’mon inside.”
The dogs seemed really friendly to Grabowski as they jumped up inside the bus and started wagging their tails. The woman then called the police who then sent to her a police officer for helping out these 2 lonely dogs.
Grabowski can be heard in the video telling the dispatch officer, “I got them inside the bus because I thought that they were going to get hit.”
After that, both these dogs were sent to the Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission and afterward were reunited with their owners who had been worried sick about them.
It is once more that special time of the year when all the people around the world try to be kind and good while putting other first, paying special attention to their friends and family members while celebrating love, peace, and joy. Well, you guessed it, this is the Christmas season and the one thing that defines Christmas is to give and share for thanking others for all the great time they have spent with each other throughout this amazing year. While each of us tends to be good to our family and friends, we should also not forget the ones that need care and love from us the most.
This is why the shelter staff of Dogs Trust Ireland’s Rehoming Center based in Dublin decided to make this Christmas special for the shelter dogs and the one that they will never forget. The shelter staff along with help from many supporters of the community was able to donate a wide range of gifts to all those cute pups that had been left abandoned. What makes this act of generosity really special is that it was not the shelter staff that chose the gifts for every dog in shelter; instead they allowed for the shelter dogs to pick themselves their own favorite Christmas toy. This scene of joy seen in the eyes of the vast number of dogs in a shelter as they were led into the room choke-full of toys to get to choose their very own Christmas gift was recorded on video.
On the Dogs Trust Ireland’s Rehoming Center’s Facebook page, the shelter staff writes, “As you will all see, deciding on which toy was a big decision for some dogs and some delighted in the squeakiest toy they could find.”
You have got to admit that seeing this all-natural joy of these cute pups, the spirit of Christmas seems to have been doubled.
The Franklin Police Department had no idea when they welcomed their new Police Therapy Dog Ben Franklin to the force that this cute looking golden retriever would sway from the right side of the law.
Well, they could not have hoped for it because this dog had been trained specially for providing comfort to others in the community. Still, some opportunities appear to be too tempting to pass up even by such a professional boy like Ben Franklin.
As it happened to be, Ben Franklin managed to find himself in a room at Police Station filled with all kinds of donated gifts that were ready for being sent to the Santa Foundation for gifting it to these kids in need. Seeing these many toys, the good boy lost all sense of the law and justice.
Ben’s handler named Officer Mucciarone said, “So this room is apparently full this time of the year, I mean choke-full of all the gifts and toys for the kids. Usually, this room is kept under a lock and a key but apparently somebody had gone in and then I noticed that Ben walked out of the room while he was holding onto a stuffed animal. He had slobbered the toy completely so we decided to let him have that toy.”
But the next day when the door was left open for once more, Ben had apparently sneaked back inside the room and this time he picked up a new baby doll that was still in its packaging. He was caught by his fellow police officer red-handed and on video at that.
When the police officer started recording that cute crime in its progress along with the culprit, Ben ignored the camera and started running down the hallway with the toy still in the mouth. He placed that stolen toy in his lair, which was under a desk. Once at the criminal’s lair, the police officers discovered a bunch of other donated toys that this pup had been sneaking out of that gift room.

The pup has been found accused of larceny but the police department is still holding on for filing those charges. They say that this thief is expected to get out of this crime clean.
