A Caring Cat Walks Really Slowly For His Best Friend On Crutches To Stay Right Next To Him

Gerard Keane with his sweet pet cat named Mitcho has always been best bud who had been inseparable since the very first day they met each other.

For the last 16 years, these 2 old friends have enjoyed the company of each other in doing almost everything.

Even sleeping together for afternoon naps is their daily common ritual.

However, a few weeks ago, a very unfortunate incident happened that put the cruel halt on the good thing that had been going on for Keane and his cat Mitcho.

Keane suffered from a terrible fall that caused his hip to break in the impact. Keane ended up needing a long stay at the hospital for undergoing the surgery for hip replacement. As for Mitcho, he had to stay during this whole time at home ad missed his best friend very much.

Keane’s daughter named Aoife told, “They were separated for the first time in their life for a whole 4 weeks. Mitcho has always followed my father around the house and also sits by his side during the summer in our garden. So yes, both of them were feeling really devastated; especially Mitcho.”

However, this absence did not cause the love in Mitcho’s heart for Keane to be lowered but instead, it increased. Ever since Keane got released from the hospital for recovering at home, Mitcho has been insistent on staying close to his best friend.

As Keane is now recovering from the hip replacement procedure, he needs to make use of the crutches to move around places. In order to help regain strength, he is talking daily walks in his neighborhood for exercise purposes. He is recovering slowly and steadily.

And now thanks to Mitcho, Keane never feels alone.

The amazing thing here is that for his entire life, Mitcho has never stepped beyond the driveway of the house but the thought of leaving Keane behind as he walks with crutches around the neighborhood caused Mitcho to change his behavior all too suddenly. Now, whenever, Keane goes out for a walk, Mitcho also joins him while moving very slowly. He walks as slow as Keane in order to not trouble his friend and to cause him to pace up.

Seeing this expression of true friendship has made eyes of Keane’s daughter teary.

She says, “Seeing this has made me really emotional. It is really very lovely.”

This love of Mitcho for Keane is really making a difference for him.

Keane, with love and care of his family and especially from his fiend Mitcho, is recovering back to health slowly but surely.

More and more wild animals are starting to leave their natural habitats in search of food and move towards the living places of humans. This food scarcity for the wild animals is occurring due to humans as more and more forests are being deforested. Wild game is being hunted down to case food shortage for the big predators. This is a growing concern in the long list of mistakes that humanity has caused in the last few decades.

Still, not all of these occasions where animals have turned up to human populating areas are bad, they have their own occasional perks like animals doing funny things in the backyards. The story for today is nothing different. It is about a bear who, in search of food scours the dumpster but then he gets stuck in that very dumpster.

With the winter season in full bloom, many cold-blooded animals are preparing for their winter hibernation but for that, they are also stocking up the food in their body in form of fat to live by comfortably through the winter. However, one bear actually got itself plumped but was still not satisfied when he ravaged a dumpster located somewhere in California.

The food might be a love for this black bear but his oversized body proved to be a source of embarrassment for him and joy for us.

The deputies of the Sheriff office in Placer Country received a distress call to a location last week. When the deputies came to the scene of a call, there was a bear, which since then has been named as T-shirt. The bear had apparently been there for dumpster diving but getting out of the said dumpster proved to be a major problem for it.

It seemed that after T-Shirt got himself inside the dumpster, the lid closed down on him and he was stuck in the dirty dumpster.

Fortunately for this big bear, the deputies came just in time to help the poor fellow. The video of the rescue of the T-shirt is below.

After being rescued, the T-shirt was seen scampering away in search of perhaps another food source.

He was named T-Shirt because of the big patch of white fur in the middle of his chest area.

Wouldn’t it be really nice if the animals could speak the human language? It would be really great considering how you can share what they are felling and how you feel about them. All the things you can share with your pet cat or a pet dog will be a great gift if it was really possible.

Well, some animals have the ability to mimic the human language like the Parrots but they can only be taught to mimic sentences but not really have a conversation. Still, this was the closest thing of an animal or a bird talking in the human language.

Well, now there is another amazing animal in the mix here ad it is a cat. Life with cats is always full of surprises but a talking cat was a nice change for a surprise. This is the story of the cat named Gambino Bambino, which is an 8-year-old tabby cat. Gambino has found a new way of surprising his owner and everyone loves it with an added surprise.

The video of Gambino has been posted by his owner on the Instagram account of the cat by the name Gambino_911. This video is nothing ordinary but a really special one which has gone viral and has people listening to it over and over again. The reason is that in this video, Gambino actually greets his owner.

The video starts by Gambino and is owner talking and then suddenly Gambino runs across the room with her human chasing after him. After a few seconds, the little cat is found and then he raises its head and manages to meow out a greeting saying, “Well, Hi” in the southern accent and then proceeds to groom himself.

The mother of a dog named Lady ended up at the shelter house while she was carrying her but was luckily pulled out of the shelter by rescuers before she could give birth to her pups. As for Lady, she was adopted by her current loving family when she was only 9-week-old. She has been in love with her family ever since that day and her family adores her too much.

Jen Anderson, mom of Lady said, “If Lady is not anywhere near yoyo, then you would have her on you. She is a very affectionate dog and is very eager in making everybody happy. She loves to snuggle with us and also tends to give lots of spitty kisses.”

Lady is adored by her owner and her fiancée very much along with many other dogs they have. They are always finding the cutest ways to describe their love for their dogs.

One day, when Anderson was getting ready for shopping last week, she suddenly heard the sound of music coming from the other room which got her curious as her fiancé was getting ready to go with her. Shortly after the music turned to signing and it did not take her long to suddenly realize that it was her fiancée who was signing in a serene manner for their dog Lady.

Anderson said, “I immediately grabbed my phone and put it on recording and headed down the room. I was tip-toeing to reach the room.”

In order for her to capture this adorable moment without making them notice her, Anderson sneaked from the door lightly and then her completely melted to see what was happening. She watched as her fiancée was singing to Lady a sweet song and Lady also could not get enough of it.

Anderson said, “Lady loved every moment of it.”

Both of them could not notice Anderson recording their beautiful interaction so she was able to record the moment in its complete beauty. Even after recording the beautiful time between the master and the dog, Anderson did not disturb them as she snuck away.

Meet Luna, the dog who is a bit of a couch potato but her owner Alexa Moore loves her the way she is.

She is 9 months old rescued dog that now loves nothing more than simply being snuggled up in the blanket with her parents and then watch a movie. Alexa told media, “We both had our own dogs when growing up but none of them were like Luna. She loves to watch TV with us.”

However, there is still one movie that Luna loves more than the other and it’s the Lion King.

All of it started when Moore suddenly started noticing that there was something peculiar whenever Luna saw the preview of this Disney movie. Whenever a Lon King commercial was aired on TV, she would seem to be really interested in it. Moore said, I then decided to open the Disney+ app on the TV and then played the movie. She clearly seemed interested in watching that movie.”

Like the children of all the generations, the pup was immediately captivated by the classic movie for kids. She then pushed her face up against the screen and then watched the movie quietly. Luna has a sweet and empathic personality, so when she saw that her friend Simba was hurting on one scene of the movie, she too seemed distressed.

This scene was the saddest part of the movie where the Simba finds his dad ‘Mufasa’ to be dead after being trampled by the wildebeest stampede.

Moore said, “Luna reacted in the cutest way possible. She was following Simba all over the screen and her ears were also moving around.”

Luna then went on to nuzzle and then pawed at the screen for Simba as he was mourning his father. It seemed as if Luna was trying to ease the pain of Simba.

Moore said, “Her reaction was simply great. It shows that all the animals understanding empathy and feelings. I had always believed that animals were capable of sensing emotions and also react to them in a comforting way.”

After the movie was over, Moore made sure to hg her pup and give lots of kisses. Moore said, “Whenever I am having a bad day, Luna tries to stay close to me and then she snuggles me more than she usually does.”

Meet Simba the sweet nature pit bull bog that has the friendliest personality. But some people only see him as a scary dog just because of his infamous breed.

Simba saved the life of his owner’s neighbor.

The neighbor of Arjanit lives only one floor down below him and one day when Simba and his owner were coming back home, Simba suddenly started to bark and then ran towards the neighbor’s door. From inside the house, both Simba and Arjanit heard cries of help from the elderly neighbor. She had apparently fallen down on the floor and had her hip was broken by the fall. Arjanit called for the ambulance immediately and they took her to hospital.

The elderly neighbor had apparently fallen on the floor and had her hop broken.

After Simba helped the elderly neighbor, her attitude regarding Simba was completely changed.

Arjanit told media that he had no idea that the story of his dog saving the life of his neighbor would go viral like this. He said that he only posed it because he wanted to make positive feedback regarding pit bulls.

Arjanit said, “People from all over the world have written and shared their feedback about pit bulls.”

Arjanit talked to one of the elder neighbor’s relatives and they told him that she had been operated on and is on her way to recovery. He also told media that the view of her neighbor towards Simba and the pit bulls has changed quite a lot.

The owner of Simba believes that each dog is a reflection of the owner.

Arjanit also shared his views that it is not the dog to be blamed for his aggressive behavior but the owner. Even a Labrador can be made aggressive or a German shepherd can be made into a family dog.

Arjanit is of the view, “It is not the breed of the dog that is the main problem here but the ones that are holding the dog’s leash. Give all pit bulls a fair chance.”

You have to admit, Simba is a really photogenic dog.

Has it ever happened to you that while you were doing one thing and instead of getting the expected results, fate threw at you something really unexpected? Well, our story of today’s animal rescue is sort of the same thing. This is the story of a bobcat cub which was found at a very unexpected place; the middle of the lake. If the rescuer of his had not come at the right moment, then things could have ended in the worst possible way.

The hero of our story today is Brett Hereford a man who happens to have an extreme love for fishing. The man goes out to fishing alongside his family occasionally to the lake Montana. But this time, he did not know that his visit this time would end up saving an innocent life.

Brett Hereford went out fishing back in the month of October with his wife at a certain lake located in Montana. There he made the catch of his lifetime. Well, the thing is that the big catch of his was not a fish.

As per the local media reports, the Herefords had been on their boat far from the shore of the Lake Flathead. While sitting there with their fishing lines, they noticed that something was in the water and it was not a fish. The decided to move a little closer to that figure in the lake for taking a much closer and clear look. It was then that it dawned on them that it was a bobcat cub that was trying his best to stay on the surface of the lake.

Well, who could have had ignored such a heartbreaking scene and The Herefords were no exception as well. Instead of leaving the animal to his devices, the Herefords decided to step in and save the bobcat. Brett Hereford brought out his fishing net and then scooped up the nearly exhausted bobcat cub.

This is the video of the moment after Brett Hereford scooped up the bobcat cub and saved its life.

It is still unclear how the bobcat cub had reached in the middle of the lake which could have turned a life-ending case.

The Herefords later told a local named Cindy Benson who told media, “The said that if they did not net in the bobcat, it was surely going to drown. The sad it looked extremely tired.”

The timing for the rescue of the 2 orangutans could not have been more perfect then when they were saved.

Fires had regarded the rainforest located in the Western Kalimantan, Indonesia which caused the 2 of the orangutans, whose home was this forest, to cling to the last of the few trees in the forest. Both of these orangutans were severely hungry and extremely tired and had no idea as to what they must do next.

But then fate smiled at them and some kind people came to their rescue.

A rescuing team from the IAR (International Animal Rescue) as well as the BKSDA (West Kalimantan Conservation Agency) found these 2 orangutans, whose ages were about 20 years old each. They were later named by their rescuers as Arang and Bara. The rescuers arrived to help these orangutans get off of the trees safely.

A social media and the community fundraising manager with IAR named Philly Kennington said, “Both of the orangutans were darted for tranquilizing them. They were then caught in the net by our rescue team in a large net as they fell off of the tree. Doing this kind of rescue operation takes a lot of skill and immense precision.”

After these orangutans were in the safe care of the rescue group, they were then loaded onto the trucks and the driver took them to the rescue and rehabilitation center of the IAR. Once there, these orangutans received medical care as well as food, and water along with much-needed love.

Both Arang and Bara are expected to make their full recovery after which they will be released into the protected part of the rainforest known as Gunung Palung National Park.

Kennington further said, “Rescuing of these 2 amazing animals and finding them to be stranded with nothing but the devastation surrounding them was really heartbreaking to see for anyone present at that time. The positive aspect of it all is when we saw them getting released into the Gunung Palung National Park safely.”

The fires that occurred in West Kalimantan, most of which had been started by the people there for the purpose of clearing the forest to have land for planting palm trees forgetting palm oils, are still burning. This will lead to more and more animals to be in need of dire assistance. Still, the rescue team is not deterred by this work overload as they are determined for helping as many animals as they can.

Kennington said, “We are simply at loss for words to praise our rescue team and what they have gone through for these past few arduous months. They are the true heroes. They worked for the sake of rescuing animals 24/7 from the raging fires and also to keep these orangutans safe.”

Now Arang and Bara are safe because of these hardworking and compassioned people and they will soon look forward to being released in the rainforest.

With the winter slowly coming into full swing, bears are recently found foraging for food to get plumped and start their hibernation period of the long winter sleep. But for one bear, who was, in fact, roaming in search of food, his future plan took a sudden twist and he deiced to live in the fun of the moment.

A few days ago a man named Scott Willhite, who lives in Colorado; noticed that he had some uninvited guest in his house’s backyard. That unexpected visitor was none other than a big brown bear that might have arrived at the backyard with a purpose to look for food but then something else piqued his interest.

This something was a soccer ball that had been left out in the falling snow by Scott. Seeing the ball, bear changed his decision of looking for food and watch what happens next in this video down below.

The bear had its fun with the foam soccer ball and without a doubt; the ball was utterly destroyed beyond repair in the process. Still, Willhite and his family got to enjoy the scene of a bear playing with the soccer ball in a pure moment of joyful bliss. It does not happen quite often that such a large predator behaves in such a playful manner in your backyard.

Willhite writes about his story on his twitter account, “the boys absolutely loved seeing the bear playing with the ball. They could not stop giggling the entire time. As for the ball, it did not have such a great time.”

The sound of the birds chirping is considered as one of the most comforting sounds in the world. Their sound is songlike that is soothing to the ears. However, there is one sound of a bird called White Bellbird which has nothing soothing about its ear-deafening noises. It is even hard to imagine that the tiny body of this bird is even able to produce these high pitched blaring noises.

The species of the White Bellbird is found in the regions of Venezuela, Brazil, and Guianas. This Bellbird is known to be the loudest bird in the whole world and the sound of theirs comes as a shock to the first-time listener. It sounds as if a large horn is blaring or a fire alarm has gone off. The sound of the White Bellbird can reach up to nearly 125 decibels which is the same level as a noisy musical concert.

The males of the White Bellbird species use these high pitched loud calls for calling out to the females if they are perched next to them. At this range, their calls are ear-deafening which causes the females to fly away. The only purpose of females to listen to these loud calls is to access a male to be her potential mate. But they are not able to endure these high pitched noises for long.

Scientists have been studying these White Bellbirds to know as to how can these small birds can create such high pitched noises from their small body frame.

A study on these Bellbirds concludes, “In the white Bellbirds, we found out that right before signing, these birds tend to gulp in a large quantity of air and inflate their throats and then they open their beaks as wide as they can.”

The call for a mate for these White Bellbirds is unlike any other in the entire animal kingdom.

One of the biggest issues in India is the stray dogs as many of them roam in the streets of the street looking for shelter and the food. Most of these dogs were either abandoned by the owners or had been born on the streets. Most of these tray dogs have some kind of an illness or a disability.

This campaign video was made by an organization based in Mumbai operating under the name “World For All Animal Care and Adoptions”. They made this video to show the hardships that a stray dog in India has to go through every day and is called “#AStreetDog’sLife”. The video since getting posted on YouTube has received over 7 million views and still counting. The video was taken with the help of a Go-Pro camera attached to a stray dog as it spends his day running through streets, getting abuse from the people and rummages through the trash.

While the video seems realistic, a lot of editing has been carried out based on the cruel scenes that these abandoned animals face on a daily basis.

The creators of the video wrote, “Disclaimer: No dogs were hurt in the making of this video. This video has been put together purely with video editing. The scenes only depict the various challenges a street dog faces every day in India. This video is meant to sensitize and change their current situation to a better one.”

Every now and then you hear bait the cases of animal cruelty and this has prompted the people to make changes in the laws to not allow it any further. This is why in order to reflect the values of such kind people a new law has been signed which is called PACT Act or the Preventing Animal Cruelty and Torture Act. With this act being signed, it is now illegal to engage in the curl eats towards an innocent animal.

The PACT (The Preventing Animal Cruelty and Torture) Act was signed in the US on 25th November 2019.

The president of the United States of America, Donald J. Trump signed the PACT Act on November 25^th, 2019 of this week’s Monday. This signing of the act marks a symbolic win for the battle of animal rights. Donald Trump, after signing the pat said, “I am very glad to sign this PACT Act into law. It is very important that all of us must combat these sadistic and heinous acts of animal cruelty, which is nothing that should be totally unacceptable in any civilized society.”

The act now marks animal cruelty as an illegal act towards the animals.

Animal crushing is a cruel practice when a living but a non-human animal including mammals, birds, amphibians, or reptiles are crushed, drowned, impaled, burned, suffocated or in any other way are subjected to a serious injury to the body, purposely.”

The animal cruelty acts will now be punishable by up to 7 years of imprisonment.

Despite the PACT Act, many animals are still left unprotected under this law in the US. This is because this bill has specifically excluded the treatment of the livestock that are a part of the animal agriculture industry, slaughtering of animals for acquiring food, procedures performed in the field of veterinary or other such same industries, hunting & fishing, predator & pest control, euthanasia, medical research, and self-defense.

While some of the people see this as a reasonable act, others are expressing their unhappiness to certain exceptions.

The PACT Act is nothing new as it had been presented this year earlier and is also the extension of the law which was first passed in 2010 by President Barrack Obama.

The PACT Act passed earlier this year and also in the past during Obama’s tenure, was able to pass in the Senate and the House after being in wait for many weeks of for reaching to the president. He was quite excited to sign this act as this act is the one on which both Democrats and Republicans are in consensus in both the Senate and in the House.

Back during the 2018’s summer, a team of scientists discovered a puppy buried deep into a lump of huge ice located near the Indigirka River which is present in the Yakutsk, Russia. The body of the dog had a full body along with thick hairs and also had his eyelashes and whiskers intact. The entire pup had been preserved in perfect condition by the permafrost.

As per the study on the body, it was deduced that this dog was only 2 months old when it passed away and the cause of the death is yet to be determined. This near-perfect body of the dog is about 18000 years old and this is the oldest record for the dogs in the history of the world. However, scientists are still not sure as to call this body to be of a dog or a wolf because it came from a point that dogs were domesticated.

Scientists are still stumped on the question of whether to call this canine a wolf or a dog.

2 researchers from Sweden named Love Dalén and Dave Stanton believe this body to be that of the earliest confirmed body of a dog. If this is the case then it would be really helpful I learning the domestication of wolves in ancient times.

Love Dalén said, “They told us that the body was found in permafrost but it is common that the things that get frozen in them are only a few centuries old.”

This discovery of still to be called a dog could prove vital in learning about the wolves’ domestication.

Dalén further adds, “When we first saw the body we had a little bit of skepticism but then we did the radiocarbon-dating on it and we were surprised to learn that it was nearly 18000 years old. This changes each and everything. When we talk about the time period 18000 years is such a long time as a lot can happen in the genetics of both dogs and wolves over this much time period.”

The body of this canine is in extremely well-preserved condition, all because of being buried in permafrost.

This pup has been named by its Russian discoverers as Dogor.

A post was made by the Swedish Centre for Palaeogenetics on their Twitter page which reads, “Genome analyses show it’s a male. So we asked our Russian colleagues to name it… Thus, the name of the puppy is Dogor! Dogor is a Yakutian word for “friend”, which seems very suitable.”

The world is now waiting for the new test results that are being conducted on Dogor.

The canine expert on ancient canine named Dr. Sergey Fedorov, who works at the North-Eastern Federal University says, “Our center has the biggest database on canines but we were still unable to determine the dog on the first try. This is really intriguing, what if this body turns out to be of a dog. We are waiting for further results eagerly.”

Dr. Sergey Fedorov comments, “Just imagine this dog has been lying still in the same pose and the same conditions for about 18000 years in ice.”
