Teemo is a human lover and a social dog. He always has a big smile on his face and what he hates most is when his owner leaves him behind going to the job. If the owner leaves for work or comes back home from work, he will always find Teemo sitting right on the front door waiting for him with his Sad Eyes. Once, Teemo’s owner had to spend much longer than usual at work due to overtime and the Sad Eyes from Teemo lasted for a full 10 minutes time.
One of the entertainment outlets in Taiwan shared a video of Teemo’s Sad Eyes look and from there Teemo’s followers steadily grew. It was a natural thing to happen because who can resist this little ball of fur with his cute look and sad eyes manipulation. One of his internet lovers commented, “If I had a dog like Teemo I would be working only from home”. Another one wrote, “There is no need to go for any work. Stay home with this good doggy.”

Today we want to introduce you to a rat named Magawa. This is no ordinary rat as it has been awarded the PDSA Gold Medal for its bravery and its devotion towards the duty of being a landmine detecting rat. This award was bestowed upon Magawa by the People’s Dispensary for Sick Animals and is equivalent to that of a George Cross.
Magawa is the first-ever rat in the history of Veterinary Charity for the last 77 years to have received the PDSA Medal. With this award, Magawa has joined the ranks of the many brave horses, courageous dogs, intrepid cats, and valorous pigeons.
Magawa is serving currently in Cambodia and is in fact a giant pouched African rat. He has been trained by a charity named APOPO for detecting landmines and is by far the charity’s most successful rodent in that regard.
He has helped the people of Cambodia to have over 141000 square meters of the land for locals to travel on. Magawa is the embodiment of the phrase that even someone so little can change many lives.
Magawa was awarded the miniature version of the PDSA Gold Medal by the veterinary charity’s General Director Jan McLoughlin on 25th September 2020.
This is Magawa; a large pouched African rat who has been presented officially with the PDSA Gold Medal for his courage and bravery.
PDSA says that this miniature gold medal for Magawa was created by Cleave & Co; the court medalists and jewelers. This is the same company that has created the engagement ring for Meghan Markel; the Duchess of Sussex. PDSA said that all the medals for PDSA are made by them.
This PDSA Gold Medal was created after a struck of a die whilst using the traditional medal making methods. This die is 18.25mm in diameter while the weight is 3.9 grams.
Amy Dickens; the PDSA Awards and heritage manager told that every member of APOPO and PDSA was feeling excited for the ceremony of Magawa receiving his Gold Medal.
She said, “due to the adverse effects of the COVID-19 in UK as well as in the rest of the world, the plans for the original presentation ceremony had to be re-worked. This means that Magawa is the first rat to bring two changes in the history of our charity; one to be the first rat honored with the PDSA Gold Medal and second for carrying it out via Virtual Presentation. We are thrilled to shine this spotlight on all the amazing work Magawa has done and cannot wait for people to see Magawa in action.

Christopher Cox, the CEO for APOPO says that Magawa has an amazing sense of smell as well as an excellent memory.
He said, “We teach the landmine detecting rats like Magawa with the clicker technique for scratching the earth on a landmine. During their training they hear the Click sound and then receive a reward in form of a treat to find correct scent of a target.”
All the land that has been made safe by Magawa and his other rodent colleagues allows for the local people to make expansions and improve their lives.
The charity organization APOPO has trained Magawa to detect landmines. He is able to do his job much faster as compared to a human with the metal detector.

One day a local breeder contacted Elliot and said to him that he has a raven named Loki, who’s the owner has died and Loki was now an orphan and was in need of a new place.
The story was that the owner of Loki passed away but his body was not found until it was few weeks and during that time Loki was left alone by himself. After the dead person was found by his relatives, they also got in touch with a local bird breeder to take care of Loki in his recent predicament. It was then Elliot was informed of Loki and he offered his home and heart for Loki.
This is Loki, who is a well-trained raven from Essex, England. He has a heart worth in gold but his attitude is a little bit cheeky.
But it was not an easy friendship for the get-go as Elliot had to spend many years to build his bond with Loki. He did it with much hard work and lots of care and love. Now, these two are inseparable who also share cuddles with each other as well as have conversations, play games, and do a few mischiefs in their daily life.
Elliot says that Loki has a unique attitude and it is sometimes a lot to handle. They both exchange gifts with each other and Loki are really fond of solving puzzles. Like any Raven, he is also a little bit of a mischievous bird and loves to undo shoelaces of people in hopes that they would trip.

A group of explorers was passing through the Maasai Mara National Reserve located in Kenya when suddenly saw the family of cheetahs. This family of cheetahs was gathered on the edge of the river. The river was flooded and its current was really strong but these animals did not care about it at all. This family of cheetahs only had one goal and that was to cross the flooded river. Once they made their mind, they really went for it.
The biggest of the cheetahs leaped right into the flooded river’s water which caused the explorers to hold their breath. Soon, 2 other cheetahs followed the first one and as people standing there watched with the same thoughts, will these cheetahs make it to the bank of the river, photographers in the group of people named Buddhilini De Soyza and Arnfinn Johansen grabbed hold of their cameras and captured once in a lifetime scene.
The photographer named Arnfinn Johansen said that he had been following this family of 5 cheetahs for a very long time. He said, “This family of cheetahs hunts on both sides of this river so it was no surprise that they wanted to cross the river. Normally these cheetahs would cross the river by walking on the stones near the river. But this year there had been rains far too often and the river got flooded and it made it difficult for them to cross the river in their previous way. They had been walking up and down this river edge for a long time to look for a place to reach the other side. However, the strong current made it very dangerous for them. This river is also the home to the Nile Crocodile and for these crocodiles, these cheetahs can be a really tasty and easy meal.”
Johansen said there was a high chance of the cheetah deaths that day. He said, “it is not too long ago when a cheetah got drowned in this river and the crocs killed it when he tried to cross the river. After the cheetahs surveyed the river for a long time, these 5 brothers went in it to cross it.”
At first, the eldest of the cheetahs jumped in the river and then 2 others followed him in. after that 2 smaller cheetahs of the group waited for a few moments before the also followed suit.
Johansen said that the pack tired to swim as fast they were able to. He said, “You could really see and tell that they were not fond of doing this.” but luck was on their side as all of the cheetahs managed to reach the other side. After the elder cheetah reached the edge of the river, he shook both his tail and fur and even hissed at the flooded river.
A woman named Courtney Wingate was talking a walk at her hometown’s local animal shelter when she came across the 3 cute little lab puppies sitting in a kennel. Courtney Wingate, who is the director of the Humane Society of Northwest Louisiana, knew in her heart that she cannot leave these cute looking puppies there especially when one of them passed her the cutest and charming smile she had ever seen in her life.
Wingate then called on a volunteer named Sarrah Walton, who then helped her grab that 8 weeks old dog along with the others. As Wingate is a big fan of the LSU, she named the pups as Jose, O, and Burreaux after the name of the quarterback and the coach of the team.
These puppies tested negative at the vet’s clinic for Parvo but once during the rescue, Burreaux got sick. He is the same pup who passed that charming smile we told you earlier. They immediately took to the animal hospital ad luckily he made it to full recovery.
Back during the rescue shelter, Wingate noticed that whenever someone talked with Burreaux in a high voice while yelling him that he is a good boy, he would immediately flash his teeth in a smile.
Walton said, “It is whenever you are sweet-talking to him, he offers a big smile like he is asking for something. It is like he is telling you to pet him and love him.”
When these dogs were all set for looking a new forever home, the rescue then posted a video of Joe where he displays his natural talent of playing fetch and Joe was adopted soon.
As for Burreaux, Walton and Wingate were thinking about what they need to post for a special talent to help him get adopted. He was not a good fetch dog like his brother but he was still a sucker for the love and sweet talks.
Walton said, “We were thinking that Burreaux wants a forever home so much that he is always smiling as if he is trying to cute it up. So we then recorded a video of him and it is going viral.”

It does not require anyone to look the same to become best friends with each other. In fact, if you are quite opposite, you can still make a great team and the friend we are going to tell you about is quite the same.
Today we wish to tell you a loving and cute story about a pigeon named Herman and a puppy named Lundy; both of whom have found the friend in each other and their friendship is without any boundaries.
This is the Pigeon named Herman who cannot fly at all.
In 2018, The Mia Foundation, which is a rescue organization for animals, received a pigeon that was born with defects. The Mia Foundation is located in Rochester, New York. That pigeon was found by someone in a parking lot alone where he was sitting on a side of pavement for the last 3 days without moving.
The rescuers found out that the bird could not fly and they decided that it was best to euthanize him. However, the founder of the rescue organization Sue Rogers thought it would be best if she could take care of the pigeon herself.
She fed Herman for a little while with a tube and she also took him outside to help recover his health. He regained his health but could not fly and that was when he became the permanent resident of The Mia Foundation.
A breeder from North America brought Lundy after he realized that the dog was having problems walking around. Soon after Lundy lost the use of her hind legs completely and the breeder asked foundation if he could bring him there and Rogers agreed.
When Lundy arrived at the rescue organization, he weighed only about 6 ounces and was so tiny that he could fit in a pocket easily. Vets think that he might suffer from a condition called Hydrocephalus which affects the little dog breeds mostly and leads to brain damage.
But for Herman and Lundy, it was love at first sight.
After Lundy and Herman went on a walk with Rogers, she started to notice that both of them started caring for each other. Then seeing them like that, she decided to put both of them in the same bed and both animals met with each other.
Rogers was unsure about them at first so she kept an eye on them but things turned out to be without any major concern. Both of them started cuddling with each other and Rogers was quick to pull out her camera and took photos of them. She then posted them on her Facebook account.
Rogers thinks that Lundy is not able to walk because of damage to the spinal cord but is unsure about it. She plans to help with the treatment soon and in the meantime, she is looking to make the puppy a wheelchair and then look for a family that could adopt the dog.
As for Herman, he is most likely to remain in the care of Rogers at the foundation for the remainder of his life unless somebody is willing to adopt him.
Today we are going to show you guys a dog that breaks all the norm of natural breeding and selection. Apparently, this dog resembles much like a cat that lives in Vietnam. When the dog’s pictures were posted on Reddit, people made many theories about the breed of this amazing looking dog. One of the users called the dog to be like a Cartoon while the other one insisted that it was the Hmong breed of dogs.
This is a purrfect boy who is headed on his way to be one of the four-legged stars in the country of Vietnam.
Some of the Reddit users, where the dog’s pictures were first posted called it a hybrid dog breed between breeds of Vietnamese dog called Hmong and the Corgi dog.
It is not a surprising thing that most of you are hearing the Hmong breed of dog for the first time as it was an accidental breed in Vietnam. As per dog breeders, they are the amazing guard and hunting dogs that have excellent intelligence and strength to them. The Hmong breed of dogs originates from Northern Vietnam’s mountain area. Also, these Hmong dogs tend to get along with the kids very well and are very social animals.
Tuan and Hai Anh, the owners of this cute looking puppy said that the real name of this puppy is Dúi which translates “Bamboo Rat” in English. The created the fan page of Dúi only a few days ago and since then it has received 40K+ likes and is getting love from not only Vietnam but from all across the world.
They also revealed the exact breed of this dog and said that Dúi is a mix of the native dog breed Hmong and another short-legged dog breed named Dingo. They said they also suspect that he has undergone some gene mutation. He was brought by the from one of Vietnam’s mountain provinces,
As for the question of whether a person is a cat person or a dog person is simply a thing of preference and one professor explained it well. An associate professor of psychology teaching at the Carroll University in Wisconsin named Denise Guastello said, “It makes perfect sense that a dog person is going to be a livelier one. And if a person is sensitive and introverted, then they are more likely a cat person. This explains that the preferences and personalities are intertwined with each other deeply.”
The orca Whales are one of the majestic creatures on God’s green earth. They are the sea mammals which also happen to be the largest member of the dolphin family and are extremely adaptable to their living conditions and are really intelligent. These orca whales can also communicate with each other for hunting in packs for the better hunting experience.
It is needless to mention but they happen to one of the least friendly of the sea mammals and for humans, it is best if they maintain a safe distance from these Orcas.
But when humans spotted an orca which was in a desperate condition and was in need of immediate help, the people in the video below decided to get close and help that poor orca. The incident in the recorded video below took place off the British Columbia’s coast. The orca has somehow got stranded on the series of rocks when it might have been trying to look for food.
As for the people who helped that poor orcas were all the volunteers who somehow come to know that there was an orca stuck at the beach that is need of the help from a Facebook post. Those people, after learning of the orca’s desperate and dire situation mobilized themselves really quickly and arrived at the scene of the incident. They were able to free the orca with some difficulty and the animal was not injured during this rescue operation. As the sources claim, the orca had been stuck there for quite some time and had been crying for many hours before someone posted the news on social media. Luckily for this Orca, these kind-hearted rescuers got wind of the news and helped rescue it.
