Pharmacist Notices A Stray Dog At Her Store Door And Realizes Its Asking For Help

Meet this woman named Banu Cengiz who happens to be a pharmacist in Turkey but she is also a great dog lover.

Cengiz not only rescued her won dog off the streets a few years back but she also maintains a cozy little sitting place for all the stray dogs placed in front of her pharmacy for dogs she cannot adopt.

Cengiz does this out of her human kindness and her love for strays and not for fame. But it seems that words of her caring nature seemed to have spread among the local stray animals as someone who truly cares about them.

Earlier this week, she was working as usual when she noticed a dog standing outside her pharmacy door and seemed little unrest. The pup was not sitting inside one of the lunges outside the pharmacy but was instead standing outside the door.

Cengiz said to media, “She was looking straight towards me and I asked her, ‘Baby, is there a problem?’”

She then let the dog walk in and soon realized that it needed help as it was bleeding from one pup which had a small cut.

The pup was actually trying to ask Cengiz for help and Cengiz did provide it with all her love and care. It can be seen in the video down below.

Cengiz cleaned the wound with some antiseptic and then stopped the bleeding and gave it some antibiotics.

Cengiz said, “After I was done taking care of it, it just laid down on the ground as if trying to thank me. She was saying I trust you.”

For the remainder of the day, Cengiz let the dog rest in one corner of her pharmacy in peace.

Cengiz also gave the dog some food, water, and one bed inside the pharmacy to sleep in peace.

By the time the store was about to be close, the dog seemed to be mended quite well and was ready to go back into the streets, sadly the life she has been well acquainted with.

Grieving Mother Dolphin Not Willing To Let Go Of Her Dead Calf

A man named Michael McCarthy was in his canoe while paddling through the waters at the Intracoastal Waterway near St. Petersburg located in Florida when he suddenly noticed a familiar fish of silver color in the waters in front of him. A dolphin was swimming in the waters and it seemed it was cradling a small yet limp body.

At first, McCarthy thought of the body to be the dinner of the dolphin but when he got closer to it, the thing that the dolphin was cradling around in the waters, actually left him feelings ad and heartbroken.

McCarthy who owns the See-Through Canoe Company in the area told media, “It took me a minute to actually bracer myself for seeing what the dolphin was actually haggling around. I believed it to be a redfish that the dolphin had caught as its dinner but as I got closer it dawned on me that it was actually dolphin’s own dead calf.”

McCarthy seeing the scene took out his camera to film this burial procession by a mother dolphin. She was caressing the body of the calf while nuzzling her nose with its body in her dance of grief.

The dolphin was not alone; a few other dolphins came to the spot and seemed as if they were trying to comfort their companion. The other dolphin joined the mother dolphin for a short while and then went on their way. One dolphin still stayed by the side of the grieving mother.

It seemed that the calf had been caught in a motorboat incident which McCarthy had seen a few times. McCarthy said the injury seemed to be caused by the propeller of a boat. He said that he knows well as to how a propeller wound seems like.

McCarthy states that people normally think that dolphins are fast and agile and they can easily evade the oncoming boats. While this is true, baby dolphins are very vulnerable to such scenarios. They are not able to swim fast enough; they also need to come to the surface frequently for taking breaths.

The video was posted by McCarthy over Twitter and it has been viewed by 76000 people so far.

McCarthy wrote, “It was really hard to watch the grief of the mother. This image is going to be stuck in my head for a while now.”

A dog named Mortimer started to have some stomach issues back in April of last year. Her mother took him straight to a vet but for neither the vet nor for his mom very worried about all of it just yet.

Emily Shannon, the mother of Mortimer said, “At the time vet diagnosed him to be suffering from an unrelated vomiting syndrome. We all hoped that he would get better with medicine.”

Mortimer was prescribed some medicine by his vet Dr. Doug Brum and he sent the 3-year-old pit bull dog back home. His family hoped that this would be the end of his pain. Unfortunately for Mortimer, the medicine only helped him for a short time and by the time it was May, he got so sick that he seemed like a different dog entirely. He no longer was following his mother around the home but instead would most of his time sleeping. Eventually, the poor dog stopped eating and by that time his mother was really worried that something was clearly wrong with her dog.

Without waiting another day, Shannon rushed Mortimer to the MSPCA Angell’s Animal Medical Center. There they took some X-rays of her and the results of it revealed something truly shocking.

The stomach of the poor dog was stuffed with 19 baby pacifiers that had completely blocked his digestive system.

Shannon said, “I was shocked to see the reports. I have two little children at home but never had I imagined that he had been eating pacifiers for so long.”

It seemed that Mortimer had been stealing these pacifiers one at a time over the course of many months that did not raise suspicion of the family. The vet immediately prepped the dog for an endoscopy and they successfully removed all 19 of these pacifiers from his digestive tract.

Dr. Burn said, “It seems that he started eating these pacifiers since April and that started his cycle of vomiting n nausea. If his family had not shown urgency in his treatment, it could have been far worse.”

Mortimer is now safe and is recovering in the care of his loving mom. The family is glad that they were able to help in time.

There is a lesson for all the pet owners in this story that they need to keep even the minute of the everyday items far from the reach of their pets. These pets have the tendency to eat whatever they can find and the next time another pet does something like this, he might not be as lucky as Mortimer.

Deer Jumps Over The Fence In Hopes To Be Friends With The Neighborhood Dog

One day the owner of a dog named Zuzu was watching his dog running around his backyard when he suddenly saw that his dog seemed to be fascinated by something or better yet someone standing on the other side of the fence. Zuzu’s owner Mike Morgan quickly saw this someone to be a deer.

Mike said that Zuzu was very shy when they adopted her but with help from the dog trainers and the family’s love; she started to come out of her hard shell. So naturally for her dab to see her dog to be as brave and curious about something as a deer to be a fun thing.

Both the dog and deer started by sniffing out each other and Morgan thought that this would be the end of it. However, what happened next surprised Morgan as the curious deer jumped over the fence and ran right toward Zuzu to greet him. Morgan was worried about the reaction of Zuzu but he was glad to see that his dog was happy that she had a new playmate and she then started to run all around the place. Zuzu and deer had started their game of chase.

Morgan said, “Zuzu reacted to deer as if it was another dog. They just played around.”

As for deer, it seemed a little unsure about Zuzu as it had never played with a dog.

However, the deer also slowly started to accept Zuzu and started to play with her.

As deer was a wild animal, Morgan thought that it was not safe for Zuzu to be playing so long with it. He tried to call her back multiple times.

However, Zuzu was simply too much excited to listen to her father.

Finally, it was deer that had enough of this playing but Zuzu still seemed to be full of energy as she was still running all around.

Eventually, deer decided it was time to go back to the wild and none of them was harmed in their little encounter.

The church service of one particular priest was interrupted by an unexpected visitor with a wagging tail, but the priest reaction to all of it was normal. In fact, his reaction was quite ok with this playful pup.

Earlier in June, Father José Geraldo Sobreira as leading his mass congregation at the Nossa Senhora das Dores parish when out of nowhere a dog also decided to join the congregation. But the pup seemed to have ulterior motives of like playing instead of attending the congregation.

As for the priest in question, he decided to do quite opposite of the thing that he was supposed to do that was to shoo the pup away. Sobreira seemed to have loved the presence of the dog in the church service and actually continued on with the service with a playful smile on his face. The dog was clearly interrupting his service but he was not at all angry or frustrated about it.

Below is the video of the scene as the playful pup plays sitting between the legs of Father Sobreira.

It is not known as to where exactly did this dog came from but the people who have seen the video online called this sudden emergence of a dog to be divine intervention.

Since that occasion, Sobreira seemed to have earned a lot of respect and praise from the locals as to how well he received this four-legged angel.

One commenter of the video wrote for Sobreira, “Beautiful Father! I loved your gesture”.

A man named Bob hall Pier was fishing last month at the North Padre Island located in Texas. Bob suddenly noticed that something was pulling on his fishing line but it was not a fish. He moved in a little closer to see what it was and to his horror, it was a giant sea turtle that had actually caught on to the big fishing hook at the end of the line.

Seeing the scene, the man wanted to help the poor creature and immediately called upon the Texas Sealife Center. Soon the volunteers of the organization came on the since looking to help the poor turtle from its painful predicament and to take him in their care. The staff of the organization named the turtle as “Captain” and after getting him out of the water, they rushed him to their medical facility for further medical evaluation in order to determine what course of action would be needed.

The director of the rehabilitation of the sea life at the Texas Sealife Center named Amanda Terry said, “aside from swallowing a whole fishing hook, Captain was in great condition. His blood work seemed to be at normal levels. X-rays were taken to see the extent of the damage that the hook caused to his inside and to find a way to safely remove it. “

The X-rays revealed that the turtle had completely swallowed the hook and it was resting in his esophagus. The only way to remove it was via surgery which they did and it went smoothly. The hook was removed without damaging Captain’s esophagus and then was helped to his way to full recovery.

Terry said, “He was given antibiotics for 2 days and after that was given the food. Since then he had been really well and had great health.”

After 1 month of being taken care of and doing well in his routine life, Captain was given the clean bill of health for being sent back into the open sea waters.

Earlier last Sunday, a huge crowd gathered on the same island where another turtle named Louisiana was released along with Captain into the ocean. Captain was walked by volunteers to walk on the beach and into the waters.

Seeing the water, Captain could not be happier as he wriggled his legs to get as quickly into the water as he could.

After reaching the open waters, Captain dove straight under the huge waves and swam deep into the ocean.

Man Suffers A Stroke and Receives A Visit From A Cutest Visitor in the Hospital

What you about to see is the way love looks like.

Earlier last week a woman named Lizzy Peake shared a heartfelt and loving video scene between an elderly man and his pet dog on her Twitter account. The man in the video was actually Peake’s own grandfather who suffered a stroke and was currently residing in the hospital undergoing rehabilitation. Without a doubt, his whole family was there in his time of need to take care of him and was regularly visiting him. However, there was still one family member that has been missing him. It was the family dog who loves his elderly owner very much.

Peake wrote, “My grandpa was not able to speak really clearly be were still able to hear the word Holly from his mouth. This is the name of our pet dog. So we talked to the hospital staff and they gave us permission for letting him see her and he was clearly very happy to see her.”

Below is the video of that touching moment when grandpa was surprised by his greeting pet dog, Holly.

While the relationship between the man and his dog is not known to the full extent, the above video can clearly give a brief intro of as to how close both of them really are.

We do hope that this surprise visit will be a good effect on his health and help to speed up his recovery.

Meet Leo, a big fluffy dog that adores his family very much but there is smoothing else that he especially loves. It is his big brown stuffed animal toy that he loves to play all the time and takes it with him everywhere.

Leo’s owner named Hayley Alaxanian, said, “This is his favorite toy and he keeps it with at all times.”

However, a little accident might have ended this lovable relationship between Leo and his toy for good.

One day, Leo was playing with his favorite toy as usual when the accident happened. The happy pup was playing with his toy and that’s when his teeth managed to rip a large hole in the fabric of the toy causing the soft cotton inside to come out; a damaging injury for a stuffed toy.

Fortunately for both Leo and his toy, Alaxanian’s dad was there to help save the day for Leo as he was clearly heartbroken by the whole ordeal.

Alaxanian said, “At first my dad took the toy away from him and placed it where he could not reach it but he was crying nonstop for reaching it. That is when my dad decided to instead help the poor pup by sewing it up himself. He took out the sewing kit and started to perform the lifesaving surgery on the toy.”

As Alaxanian’s dad performed the sewing on the toy, the worried dog never left his side even for a moment, neither did he took his eyes off of it.

After many moments of worry and sewing passed, the surgery was done. Good news for Leo as the toy was going to be alright despite the inexperience of the dad in handling such life-threatening surgeries.

Alaxanian said, “this is the very first time I saw my father sew a toy back together.”

As for Leo, he cannot be more relieved than to have his favorite toy back to him in one piece once more.

Now the pup and the plaything are back together again.

Smucky the rescued cat has always been stressed out by his shelter life but now he has found himself a new passion in life that has made his life a little easier in the shelter. He now hopes to find a forever family that can also live with his passion which has also somewhat become an obsession.

Smucky was rescued by the Cab County Animal Control as a stray cat located in Marietta, Georgia. He was then given to a shelter that was aware of as to how this 6 years old cat is stressed with his new life at the shelter. The cat was would often meow in his kennel and they decided to turn his life for better as they traded him to the Best Friends Lifesaving Center located in Florida.

When Smucky came to the shelter, the staff there assumed based on the info form last shelter where Smucky was t that he would not be an affectionate cat and won’t do well with other cats. Smucky only likes his own space and when it comes to other cats, he likes to take things slowly and one step at a time. The staff members at the Best Friends started Smucky off by housing him in the office of the manager to have the peace and quiet he longed for.

After living in the office he started to come out of the shell of loneliness he had at the shelter. He completely changed and became a vocal and asocial cat.

Now he loves to play hide and seek.

One of the best things that Smucky loves is to take rides in his stroller. He meows at the friends at his new shelter home so that they can take him for walks.

In addition to that, he also loves to receive the cuddles as well as attention that he can receive from all the favorite humans at the shelter. Still, nothing can beat the stroller ride for Smucky. A shelter worker named Dandrea said, “Once you take Smucky out on a stroller walk, he is your fined for life.”

So, now whoever decides to adopt Smucky, they better be ready to take his stroller with them as well or they can say goodbye to this cat in advance.

Earlier in the month of June this year, the shelter working in some part of Ukraine took in a stray dog with big blue eyes ad large body which was clearly a sad story of how his life on the streets was not so well. His hardships on the streets were evident from his sickly body and his mangled fur coat.

His Rescuers were motivated to find this dog his new forever home but what they did not know t the time was that it already had a home and that someone had been missing him very much.

The day the dog was brought to the shelter, his photos were taken and posted over social media in hopes to attract potential adopters. Given his poor condition and the time it would have needed to bring the dog back to complete help, it was a farfetched thought that anyone would show interest in him. However, due to the sadness in his eyes, he struck a chord in people’s hearts and his post was shared by people hundreds of times.

As it happens to be, those hundreds of shares across the world actually made one hell of a difference for the poor dog.

After mere two days of reaching the shelter, shelter was contacted by one woman who said that the dog had been stolen from her in 2017. She saw shelter’s ad and was awestruck to see the dog in the post having a striking resemblance to her lost dog.

A worker of the shelter named Galina Lekunova told media, “She had been looking for her missing dog for the last 2 years. But the big question was, ‘Was this her dog?’”

To confirm the suspicion, a meeting was arranged the very next day and the video down below cleared the suspicion of everyone.

The shelter posted the video with the caption, “tears of joy in the morning.”

The dog whose name happens to be “Lord” had waited so long for this miracle to happen and now he is finally where he truly belongs.

A 2 years old dog named Bowie suffered from a health condition that resulted in him losing his leg. With now one of his legs gone, Bowie had to learn everything from start. However, with the help of his loving family, he soon figured out doing everyday tasks with little tweaks like going up and down the flight of stairs.

After Bowie lost his leg, he started going down the stairs by leaning against one of the walls and slowly hoping down the flight of stairs. He performed the process uncountable times to make it perfect for him and as it happens to be; her compassionate sister was also watching her brother’s struggle.

Bowie’s sister amend Zeppelin joined the family back in January and by that time Bowie was already used to his three legs and became instant friend and a role model for her new sister. From the day, Zeppelin came to the house, they became inseparable and it was not a surprise to the family that she took some pointers from her big brother.

Karisa Maxwell, the parent of both dogs said, “Both of them are always snuggling up with each other applying together even if there are other dogs beside them. We were worried that Bowie would not play with her as Zeppelin got bigger than he was. However, Zeppelin is very kind and gentle with Bowie and she plays at his pace and also protects him.”

As she got older, it turned out that she wanted to spend time with her brother more like him. Finally on day her parents found pout the abrogable way by which she got down the stairs.

As Zeppelin has been taking her brother’s cues, she now also goes down the stairs as if she also got only 3 legs like Bowie.

Her parents tried to show her that she does not need to go down the flight of stairs like that but Zeppelin has refused to go the normal way down. She simply wants to be jest like Bowie.

Meet Wolfgang a homeless beagle dog who happens to always be in high spirits despite the fact that he can’t do most things that normal dogs do.

The reason is that Wolfgang happens to be 60 pounds overweight. He needs to be only 23 pounds in weight but he is well over 90 pounds.

No one knows the reason as to why Wolfgang got so overweight.

A foster for homeless pets with the Arizona Beagle Rescue named Erin McManis said, “we do not even know the circumstances that led to him being in the shelter but he was found by the shelter as a stray dog. After he was in the shelter, I and my husband got to be his foster parents.”

The foster family also has two other pets beside Wolfgang but he is not bothered by it at all. Wolfgang does not do much in the house but loves to lie back on his back a lot as he sunbathes in the yard while the other two dogs named Fred and Andre look at him.

Seeing that Wolfgang is one special pup, his foster family has decided to help him lose weight.

They have put him on a special 600 calories per day diet recommended by a vet. McManis said, “I cook him some lean turkey with a helping of green veggies.”

McManis said that Wolfgang suffers from a serious thyroid condition and is also under medication to help control it. He also takes lots of vitamins to keep him healthy.

In addition to tall this, he is also doing lots of exercises as McManis helps him swim around the pool with regular walks.

McManis said, ‘I was worried that he would feel too hungry on his new diet but he seems to love both his diet and exercise plan.”

This foster family has already helped other dogs control their obese bodies.

The family dog Andre was 68 pounds and they whipped him into shape and now he weighs only 23 pounds.

McManis has also decided to join Wolfgang’s weight loss program as she takes on a low-carb diet for herself as well. She thinks of doing it because it is fun when both dog and owner does it.

After Wolfgang controls his weight and overall health, he will be up for adoption soon.

Everyone Bursts Into Laughter At The Graduation Ceremony As A Dog Steals The Show With His Act

Earlier last week at the Horseshoe Bend School located in Alabama was the graduation ceremony for the senior’s class. While the big day was all about these grad students, they were upstaged for a moment by a hilarious dog.

The name of this certain dog is Charlie.

Charlie is the pet dog of one of the graduating students named Logan Branch who happens to live near the school. During the school year, Charlie often came to the school as he wandered around and played with his owner during breaks. It took him time but he soon made his place in hearts of students at school.

Branch said, “Everyone at the school is aware that he is my dog.”

It seemed that Charlie knew that his time with everyone in the school is short so he decided to leave his own mark in a special and hilarious way.

Guess who decided to crash in the middle of the graduation ceremony of all the students and Branch. It was none other than the goofy Charlie.

Branch said, “Nobody had thought that Charlie would be there. He just came inside the front gate and surprised everyone.”

After wandering around for a few moments Charlie carried on with his big act to steal the thunder of all the kids. He relieved himself casually on a nearby decorative fern.

And as he does the act and you can see in the video down below, everyone bursts into laughter.

Branch said, “as soon as he walked near the plant, every one of us knew what he was about to do. This is why we could not help but laugh.”

Despite everyone loving Charlie, his owner was still quite embarrassed; can you tell who his owner is?

After Charlie’s big moment, the ceremony went like normal with nobody being able to top Charlie’s moment.

Branch said, “He was definitely the one that received the most attention from the crowd tonight. He definitely loved it.”
