They say life is when you make plans and soothing unexpected happens. Same was the case for a man and a random lost dog who showed at his house last month.
The name of the man in this story is Brooks Rabern who lives in Birmingham, Alabama. He went out of his house when he suddenly saw a unique visitor he was not expecting at all.
This visitor was a dog who had a collar but tags on it were missing. The dog seemed to have been lost. Rabern took some photos of the dog and posted them on Facebook for her owner to saw.
Instead of worrying about where the dog came from, Rabern decided to make this day one of the best for the pup’s life.
Rabern decided to put this special day on Twitter as he posted, “this morning, this random lost dog showed at my doorsteps. Here is the thread of what we did the whole day.”
The day started with a great meal. After that, they went out for an activity and it was swimming.
After a long paddling time in the lake, pup took a nap. This was convenient for Rabern who need to do his school work.
After work and some rest, Rabern took the dog on a boat for sightseeing.
The dog seemed to have immersed in the scenery and looked great in the afternoon lights.
As the day was going on, pup’s family found the missing dog post from Rabern and messaged him that the dog’s name was Lola.
Rabern wrote, “Lola’s owner came to pick her up and they were glad that she had such a great day.”
While it seemed the end of their day, it was far from being over.
Rabern later wrote, “you are all not going to believe this, but after ten minutes of being picked up by her owner, Lola has come back to see me.”
Lola and Rabern hanged out in the porch waiting for the owners to come again and pick Lola up.
This time, Rabern decided to turn some music on and dance with Lola.
Rabern said Lola missed me so much that she came back.”
Lola’s owner came back and she went home. Her owners were happy that she had so much fun today.
