Like something that came out of a great Christmas story an extremely rare White baby Reindeer has been spotted in Oslo, Norway. The photos of this amazingly beautiful and magical looking baby Reindeer have been captured by a photographer named Mads Nordsveen while he was hiking in Norway.
24 years old photographer told media that “I was walking looking for landscapes for my travel photography when out of nowhere I came about his cute creature.” According to the photographer, the reindeer was completely camouflaged by the white snow but it still did not made attempts to hide or did not even mind to pose for some great photographs.
Nordsveen got a little more from these photographs as he told media, “he came very close to me and we looked straight into each other’s eyes. After some minutes the mother of the baby reindeer came out from the trees behind. Baby reindeer walked about for few minutes and then he ran towards his mother. For me, it was a very magical and fairytale-like amount.”
White Reindeers have white fur because of a special genetic mutation which strips pigmentation from their fur. This allows them to blend into their snowy surroundings much easily.
For the photographer, this was not his first lucky encounter. He came about a Lynx and wolves both in Norway during his photography travels.
