Meet this woman named Banu Cengiz who happens to be a pharmacist in Turkey but she is also a great dog lover.
Cengiz not only rescued her won dog off the streets a few years back but she also maintains a cozy little sitting place for all the stray dogs placed in front of her pharmacy for dogs she cannot adopt.
Cengiz does this out of her human kindness and her love for strays and not for fame. But it seems that words of her caring nature seemed to have spread among the local stray animals as someone who truly cares about them.
Earlier this week, she was working as usual when she noticed a dog standing outside her pharmacy door and seemed little unrest. The pup was not sitting inside one of the lunges outside the pharmacy but was instead standing outside the door.
Cengiz said to media, “She was looking straight towards me and I asked her, ‘Baby, is there a problem?’”
She then let the dog walk in and soon realized that it needed help as it was bleeding from one pup which had a small cut.
The pup was actually trying to ask Cengiz for help and Cengiz did provide it with all her love and care. It can be seen in the video down below.
Cengiz cleaned the wound with some antiseptic and then stopped the bleeding and gave it some antibiotics.
Cengiz said, “After I was done taking care of it, it just laid down on the ground as if trying to thank me. She was saying I trust you.”
For the remainder of the day, Cengiz let the dog rest in one corner of her pharmacy in peace.
Cengiz also gave the dog some food, water, and one bed inside the pharmacy to sleep in peace.
By the time the store was about to be close, the dog seemed to be mended quite well and was ready to go back into the streets, sadly the life she has been well acquainted with.
