When a rescued Pitbull named Grayce gave birth to 11 puppies, she placed all of them into the lap of her foster mother one by one. Stevoni Wells Doyle told media about that time, “I think she still feels unsure as a new mom. She needed love and assurance from someone she loves and trusts herself.”
Stevoni Wells Doyle told media that Grayce had been neglected in her previous foster home and she needed a safe environment to have her pups. Doyle, who has previously fostered hundreds of dogs, says that animals all need us, “we are their voice and we need to protect them.”
However, never in her years of fostering dogs, has ever a dog mom hand her puppies in such a touching way. Doyle says, “I was much honored that she chose me to trust with her puppies and herself too. I am still overwhelmed with her love.”
Grayce and her puppies will now be ready for adoption in about 8 weeks. The adoption will be carried out by a group of animal foster care “Rescue Rovers”.
