Grace Chon is an animal photographer who started a photo series by name of “HAIRY”. The series was started by Grace back in 2016. The series includes many dogs in a photoshoot with before and after their haircuts.
All of the dogs in this photoshoot have been styled in Japanese Hair Grooming. The reason for Japanese grooming being so special is that the Japanese Grooming does not follow the traditional rules for certain breed grooming. This unique grooming style has only aim and that is to bring out the best personality of the dog and make them look even more adorable when they were before their haircuts.
Japanese dog groomers have managed to reach this aim with careful and detailed consideration for each of pup’s attributes and of course adding in their own creativeness.
The dogs that we are presenting today have all been groomed by extremely talented groomers who work at the ‘Healthy Spot” a pet grooming saloon working in Los Angeles, California, USA. Majority of the groomers working there have been trained by Japanese Master Groomers.
Well, we are only going to present a handful of these before and after pictures of adorable pups in unique grooming styles, the whole series is available in a book named “Puppy Styled” on Amazon and in bookstores across the USA.
So without further ado enjoy these amazing pictures of Dogs before and after Japanese Grooming.
