Strongest animals

Each animal has its own different criteria for strength. Some are blessed with sheer brute force while others are blessed by nature for lifting, dragging carrying or pulling huge weights. Some animals might be smaller in size but they have immense power more than their own body weight.

We present to you few of the strongest animals in the world.

Grizzly Bear:-

Grizzly Bears are one of the most fearsome species of bears. When it comes to strength, it is the most powerful species of bear. An adult grizzle bear is able to lift 500 kg of weight which is 0.8 times of its own body weight.

Anaconda:-

Anaconda is one of the ruthless and largest species of the snake family. Ana anaconda snake has so much squeezing power that it can easily squeeze another animal weighing almost equal to its own 250 kilogram body weight.

Elephant:-

When it comes to brute strength, her is no other animal or land mammal that comes near to them. African Elephants have an average weight of about 6350 kg. They are able to lift 9000kg weigh almost equal to lifting 130 adult humans.

Musk Ox:-

Musk Ox is so strong that it can pull about 900 kg on rugged terrain, which is nearly double their own body weight of average 400 kg.

Tiger:-

Tigers are ferocious creatures that can carry a prey weighing almost 550 kg up on a tree.

Eagle:-

An eagle is the strongest bird in the world. Eagles are able to lift four times their own body weight and that is during the flight.

Gorilla:-

Gorillas are able to lift 2000 kg which is ten times their own body weight.

Leafcutter Ant:-

Although leafcutter ants only weigh about 500mg but they can still lift up something in their jaws 50 times heavier than their own body weight. To consider this just imagine if a human is able to lift a truck using his teeth.

Rhinoceros Beetle:-

Rhinoceros Beetles are so powerful that they can lift something that is 850 times compared to their own body weight. For comparing it with humans, just imagine that if a human has same strength as the Rhinoceros Beetle they can lift up to 65 tons worth of weight.

Dung Beetle:-

Dung Beetle is the world’s strongest insect and can also be referred to as one of the strongest animals on the planet if not considering its small size and weight. They are able to pull something that weighs 1141 times their own body weight. For imagining it from human perspective, consider a human pulling eight double Decker buses filled with people.
