It is really sad but true that the world is filled with stray dogs who have nowhere to go, sleep, or eat. However, sometimes these pups do get lucky and they are able to find a forever home for themselves.
This was exactly what happened for a unique litter stray dog who was found by her rescuers on the streets of the Russian city named Bratsk. Her owner named Oskana said, “Betty was only 10 days old when she was found wandering on the cold streets.” When she was taken to the shelter, the workers there thought that someone had played a cruel prank on her by drawing lines for extra thick eyebrows. However, after trying to clean these supposed eyebrows, they realized that they were not painted but natural.
Oskana says about Betty’s unique eyebrow markings, “Her eyebrows are a result of being a birthmark from her dad and mom. The skin of the eyebrows is darker as compared to other places as Nature intended for it.” the shelter workers decided to name her as Frida in honor of the famed Mexican artist named Frida Khalo. When her photos were posted over intent, she immediately got attention from the world. All of them sent in good wishes for her to be adopted very soon.

Among various people willing to adopt her, Oskana too was touched by the beauty of this pup. She said, “I saw her for the first time in a photo posted by the shelter on their website and I fell in love with her. Many of the people called to adopt her but after seeing her, they refused at the spot.”
It was Oskana who decided to bring Frida home but then she also gave her a new name, Betty.
Betty was a little scared of her new owner and her new house but Oskana was caring to take her to vet. She got her vaccinated and also applied for a passport for Betty. In the short few days, Betty also fell in love with her new family and they love her back with the same affection.
