To have a 175 pounds heavy large dog and calling it a Lap Dog might seem a little weird but this is until you have met a Great Dane.
From paw to shoulders these dogs measure up to 30 inches on average and are referred to as the “worlds’ largest Lapdogs”. With this being said, they, however, have no idea about their enormity. The breed is so large in size that the world largest dog was also a Great Dane named ‘Zeus’ who was measured at 40 inches from paw to shoulders.
According to the survey and listing of American Kennel Club; Great Danes are the 24th most likable and popular breed of dogs in the world. You might ask why, but you have to see one to know why people love them.
