Smucky the rescued cat has always been stressed out by his shelter life but now he has found himself a new passion in life that has made his life a little easier in the shelter. He now hopes to find a forever family that can also live with his passion which has also somewhat become an obsession.
Smucky was rescued by the Cab County Animal Control as a stray cat located in Marietta, Georgia. He was then given to a shelter that was aware of as to how this 6 years old cat is stressed with his new life at the shelter. The cat was would often meow in his kennel and they decided to turn his life for better as they traded him to the Best Friends Lifesaving Center located in Florida.
When Smucky came to the shelter, the staff there assumed based on the info form last shelter where Smucky was t that he would not be an affectionate cat and won’t do well with other cats. Smucky only likes his own space and when it comes to other cats, he likes to take things slowly and one step at a time. The staff members at the Best Friends started Smucky off by housing him in the office of the manager to have the peace and quiet he longed for.
After living in the office he started to come out of the shell of loneliness he had at the shelter. He completely changed and became a vocal and asocial cat.
Now he loves to play hide and seek.
But above it all, he seems a little too obsessed with his cat stroller.
One of the best things that Smucky loves is to take rides in his stroller. He meows at the friends at his new shelter home so that they can take him for walks.
In addition to that, he also loves to receive the cuddles as well as attention that he can receive from all the favorite humans at the shelter. Still, nothing can beat the stroller ride for Smucky. A shelter worker named Dandrea said, “Once you take Smucky out on a stroller walk, he is your fined for life.”
So, now whoever decides to adopt Smucky, they better be ready to take his stroller with them as well or they can say goodbye to this cat in advance.
