Today we introduce you to Saul aka The Grumpy Cat who was found wandering in the streets of London badly injured and in serious need for medical attention. A Good Samaritan found Saul and hen he found him, Saul was in such a bad condition that the man called the RSPCA. The organization then sent a man to rescue the poor guy and took him to RSPCA’s Putney Animal Hospital.
Caroline Allen, London veterinary director for the RSPCA said in a press release that, “he was in a very bad state as discharge was oozing out of his eyes and nose. He looked very terrible at that time. We are sure to say that he was in a road accident because of his injured jaw, teeth, and eye”.
As the vets started to take care of Saul, he began healing quickly and one of his personality traits started to get prominent. Allen said, “Saul has a deep scowl but he is actually very friendly and sweet. He is recovering from injuries fast and we believe that we will be able to move him soon to our cattery at Southall. There we will find him a new home.”
The staff of the vet hospital is unsure if this is Saul natural grumpy state of or he is grumpy due to him having serious injuries; but one thing is for sure, that this grump of his is there to stay.
Now the ginger furball is winning the hearts of everyone at the shelter with his Grump being still a mystery for everyone. However what matters most is that Saul is a fluffy sweet kitten and he demands attention from everyone and likes to cuddle.
Staff is sure that when he is recovered fully, they will be able to find a forever home for him fast.
Allen said, “We are certain that someone will fall in love with his Glum expressions and in fact, he could one day become a star. We are sure that he will be giving the “Grumpy Cat a run for his money. This is why we have named him Grumpy Cat 2.0”.
