Today let us introduce you with Morgan; an 18 years old senior rescued Dachshund dog that ended up in a shelter after his human passed away. Due to Morgan being 18 years old, SPS (Senior Paws Sanctuary) was called to help the poor little fellow.
Katie Reid, Morgan’s foster mom told media that, “they informed me that an old elderly unadoptable dog has arrived at the sanctuary.”
Morgan after arriving at the shelter was then moved to live with her foster mother Reidy and her ten years old dog named Charlie. Reidy and her dog both thought that dog would be slow due to his age but they could not be any much more wrong.
Reidy said, “I often joke and say that Morgan suffers from Benjamin Button disease. Since the past year I fostered him, he has gotten even more active livelier and his personality has grown so much”.
Inspired by Morgan’s will to survive and his passion for life, Reidy started a bucket list for Morgan. So far according to the list, Morgan has traveled on a plane, met with a sergeant, became a junior deputy, went to see a baseball game, enjoyed a run on the beach, took his picture with Santa, sat on a motorcycle and has even tried doing Yoga.
