Majority of the people in the world consider Finland as a place which is a land of cold weather and shrouded with everlasting darkness. However, one Finnish photographer by the name of Ossi Saarinen decided to prove these stereotypes wrong. In his opinion, his country is much more than just extreme m cold and darkness shrouded region and he proves it by showing one of the surprisingly beautiful and magic like side of his motherland; Finland.
Ossi brought out the delightful feelings in the hearts of the spectators of his photography through enchanting Finnish nature. His main focus was the untouched forests that cover almost the three-quarters of the country. Within these peaceful and centuries, aged forests live wild animals that roam around freely without a worry in life and enjoy their lives to the best.
The Finnish forest animals shown in Ossi’s photographs appear to be creatures that have suddenly come out of fairy tales in all their fascination and mysteriousness. Ossi himself is fond of the wildlife beauty in Finnish forests and does not hesitate to capture this beauty in the lens of his camera.
According to Ossi, each encounter between humans and animals is an unforgettable experience.
