Jon Bernthal, former actor of the AMC’s hit TV series “The Walking Dead” is making use of his social media accounts to advocate his aim to rescue pit bulls. Jon; who himself is an animal activist tries to show the sweet and lovable side of these amazing Pit Bull dogs to advocate their sweet and lovable side with his own pet Pit Bulls. He already had two Pit Bulls amongst his pets and nowhere welcomed another one he calls “Lil Bam Bam Bernthal” into his flurry of Pit Bull pets.
The actor posted the heat warming photos of his new pit bull with an aim to encourage people to adopt “rescue a Pit Bull”.
Many of you might not know that his love for the animals is a hereditary trait he got from his father. His father is the Chairman of the board for HSUS (Humane Society of the United States) which he has partnered with PSA against animal cruelty.
Jon is not only the face for HSUS but also is the poster boy for a nonprofit project by Animal Farm Foundation named “The Majority Project”. Their aim is to shine on the positive images of the Pit Bull breed.
