Hundreds of cats and dogs are on the verge of death daily all because of human cruelty. Many of these stray dogs also happen to be pets of someone once. But as soon as they got a disease or got into an accident or simply got old, there owners kick them out on the streets to survive on their own.
Today for our readers we have gathered a list of stray cats and dogs that have been living horribly on the streets but some kind people took it upon themselves to give new homes to them and turned around their lives for better. This pit-bull was the fighter from underground dog fights. He had terrible injuries. He was saved by family when he was only 6 weeks. Apollo went through multiple surgeries and now he is one of the happiest pit bull you will ever see.
Sedona and Zeus
This duo of dogs was found in a hot desert. They were found by Jordan Kahara who was on a cross country trip when he bumped into them. He only picked them up knowing that they were now his dogs, these dogs and Jordan have now visited more than 30 thousand miles and nearly 35 states together.
He is named Cedar because he was found at the golf course of same name. He was not only completely bald but also exhausted. Rescue team nursed him back to health and it is impossible to recognize that he is the same nearly bald dog.
This dog was saved from a Korean meat shop. How did he arrive there? He was given for slaughter by previous owners for just 20 dollars. Willow was saved by a Save Korean Dogs Association along with 300 other dogs. With few months of nursing he is back to his original beauty.
A baby Shih Tzu
This baby Shih Tizu was found with mated fur and rotten teeth with overall poor health condition. This dog held on to his impressive endurance and is now a great looking healthy dog.
This dog was found in alleys of Chicago with bleeding wounds and chemical burns along with one leg having a gunshot wound. He was on the verge of death but vets took proper care of him and nursed him back to health. Augustus really adores the director of the Animal shelter and follows him everywhere.
When he was first rescued by volunteers it was hard to think of him as a dog. Despite his bad condition he seemed hopeful as e was wagging his tail. After several months of careful nursing he is now a friendly beautiful dog.
He was found soaking wet on side of road and could barley walk. Her feet were burned from standing too long in urinal. Someone found and adopted her all the while nursing her back to the current health you see.
